Dikiyoba prefers to imagine Cheeseball having signed a twenty-year contract as Solberg's familiar that is now fulfilled, complete with a surprise left in Solberg's slipper and a mad dash for the door. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Oh, come on. No one ever died of boredom in less than three hours. The record is currently held by Emma Bratt, who keeled over after repeating variations of "I'm bored. Are we there yet?" for a solid five hours and sixteen minutes. And even that's suspect. There are rumors that she might have been suffocated by her severely irritated parents. Ahem. Sorry. Dikiyoba can't wait until the rest of the scenarios are released. Especially the Wife of Bath's Tale. That one ought to be good. :P Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Maybe someone should make the G5 editor based on this principle. Before they can claim their massive amounts of gold, they have to choose the correct spelling option of guardian. Before they claim an inventory full of uber-items, they have to admit that Blades of Geneforge is a terrible idea. And so on and so forth. Dikiyoba. If you've completed every quest and task as a rebel, your reputation is probably too far gone to ever get the quest from Alwan, short of a restart or cheat. But if there is any conversation option or quest that you can choose a pro-Shaper option for (like finding the papers in the Safehouse and giving them to Alwan), you might be able to bump up your reputation enough to get the quest. You need to have a combined reputation and leadership of 108 to get the quest. Edit: Dikiyoba gets distracted by non-computer stuff and Randomizer gets there first. Actually, it has a use. It's the annual meeting spot for all humanoid monsters, where they all get together at the well to complain about adventurers, show off stolen magic items, and collect six coins apiece. Where did you think those coins all the goblins and whatnot drop upon death came from? Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Click on the little coins in the corner of an item's inventory square to sell it. You can't buy anything you sell back, though. However, you can store items you don't want to sell on the ground or in a barrel or wherever else you can think of. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I answered plot for question two, but if "engine" or "interface" had been an option I would have picked that instead. Mediocre plots are better than clunky controls. The answer to Actaeon's question is no. Dikiyoba would point and laugh instead. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm having trouble with Niemand's scenario. I can get into the Madhouse once, but once I leave, it goes hostile on me. Any ideas? Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I suppose it's an open-ended scenario, just a really bad one. Dikiyoba nominates Rats Aplenty and Embers of Rebellion as two less-linear scenarios definitely worth a playthrough. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

In many instances, a hostile or slaughtered town won't even follow you to the other towns in the scenario. So as long as you don't need the town to win the scenario, feel free to pillage away. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Or we could just use G4's encumbrance system and not have to worry about our inventory weight at all. An ornk could still be useful if it provided additional inventory slots, but then, adding additional inventory space that can only be used for charms would be useful too. It becomes your default creation, so instead of making a selection, just click OK. You'll create an ornk automatically. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |
