The wait is over-- the results are in. First, I tally all the scenarios' scores, only counting the judges who have no scenarios in the contest. Giving us the first 4 eliminations. TM is now eliminated, and his scores will be counted. Giving us the last 5 results: The Merchant's Tale is the winner. Now to go backwards. Lazarus is now eliminated, and his scores will count. Giving us the next set of results. We average the two to get the final results. (Brace yourself!) 1. The Merchant's Tale by Lazarus 2. The Bounty Hunter's Tale by Lazarus 3. The Knight's Tale by Lazarus 4. Darkness by Ephesos 5. Outpost Valley by Smoo 6. Aphobia by Terror's Martyr 7. Avatar by Terror's Martyr 8. IMAGINE THIS SCENARIO by Terror's Martyr 9. A Visit to the Madhouse by Niemand Congratulations and thanks to everybody who participated in what I found to be a very enjoyable and successful contest. Thanks also to the judges who took the time to give their feedback. And a special thanks to TM, who had as much a hand in running this as I. Oh, and here are the judges scores and comments (where applicable) http://www.geocities.com/lazarus989/contest_results.html -------------------- "Heart of Earth located in Europe, Ass of Earth located in USA." Darkness is available from Ephesos' site, but the rest are unreleased. Some designers are planning to do some more work on their scenarios, so I'm not sure which are really ready to play. I can say that the Tales are playable and will probably not change much before the final release. However you aren't going to get the full story until the compilation comes out, so you'd be best off waiting and getting the most polished version. -------------------- "Heart of Earth located in Europe, Ass of Earth located in USA." Wow. Uh, TM's going to have some interesting things to say about these results, I'm sure. Congratulations to the winners, at any rate. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

I may be annoying, but I can still judge. I can beta test too. Remember, I am a person too. I am just still a newb...as real life is what I am used to. But you guys don't seem to get that. You know, everyone (almost everyone) deserves a chance. ... -------------------- I can transform into almost anything, though not sanity. A judgement = a decision Infernal Flamming Muffin = Iffy Hence: "Infernal Flamming Muffin making a judgement" = "An Iffy decision" See, it's a pun, based on your PDN. -------------------- "Blink and you're dead... Oh, so you don't think it would have been a bad idea if I had judged? Oh, come on. No one ever died of boredom in less than three hours. The record is currently held by Emma Bratt, who keeled over after repeating variations of "I'm bored. Are we there yet?" for a solid five hours and sixteen minutes. And even that's suspect. There are rumors that she might have been suffocated by her severely irritated parents. Ahem. Sorry. Dikiyoba can't wait until the rest of the scenarios are released. Especially the Wife of Bath's Tale. That one ought to be good. :P Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Ahem... I would like to congratulate Lazarus on 72 hours apparently well spent. A hearty slap on the back to the rest of the entrants, too. Let's commence with the merry-making, huh? Having played TM's entries, I am looking forward to be amazed and astonished by the technical wizardry and in-depth storytelling that will be displayed in the Tales and Darkness. -------------------- WWtNSD? Synergy - "I don't get it." Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |
