What, do PC users seem not helpful or something?

Anyway, I'm glad you switched to Mac. As far as I can see, every new buyer is good for Apple. They need it.

No Slartucker, you've got that all wrong about EDF. I spoke with the boy personally, and the reason he acted like he did, was TM, who had driven him mad. he came back to the boards after he "left" because he wanted to take revenge, but he ridiculed himself only more. I won't go any further about this here. If somebody has specific question about EDF, just PM me.

EDF Didn't want the board to adapt to him, he only wanted to take "revenge" on TM, in which he miserably failed. that's all

Options for that question:

1) You came later;

2) dikiyoba posted more than you, right from the start;

3) Dikiyoba cheats;

4) God made you number lower by summoning somethings.

2 is probably the correct one, but you never really know for sure if a god exists.

My cat was always one year older than me. I treated him as "a big brother."

Although to be perfectly honest, in comparison to a human, a cat of already 10 years would be 50 years in human lives, although this is very inaccurate. That would mean that my cat was 80 when he died...

?????? ??? ??????? is all I see (except the Hebrew and Latin alphabet). That is strange, as previously it did work.

Hrelm enn'aru biãrim?

Lord of the boards: the return of the noob

I coul go on with this for quite some time. there are so many names of films which one could altar to suit his or her needs...

Aran: I seriously hope you are wrong about that.

That's really, really to bad. I'm dying to play your scenario. I wonder if it is a coincidence that your computer died simulaniously with my mother's computer. Her OS also had to be reinstalled.

I really hadn't thought my scenario would ready for alpha testing earlier than yours. Life is a strange thing, and I don't see why I should change it.

Good luck with your job and whatever you have to do, though.

Thanks, just needed to know that for sure.

My scenario is going well at the moment. just one town left to complete, and then I need to test about half of the scenario (the half which I made during this last week of vacation). Tomorrow, without serious interuptions, it might be finished. beta call can be expected next week.

Is there really no artist (or at least somebody who knows how to draw things on the computer) here?

My cat did that every evening while eating dinner. he would just jump on the table and ask for food. It wouldn't matter really what we were eating, it was all fine.

In DwtD, when approaching the last vakhos in town 7, before you start fighting him, the dialogue mode is immediatly triggered, as to speak with him before you fight him. I wanted to know how Jeff did this, as I can't seem to find a call or something (both in the docs and the scripts themselves) that enables this.

EDIT: i think I found it out anyway. Is it this call:

begin_talk_mode

I got a visitor today who will stay until sunday. Her name is jaenette Fincke, and she is a specialist in Hurrian. She already helped me with defining certain cases and explaining the verb sina a better way. In the weekend I'm hoping to put the modifie pages on, as until the weekend I'll be busy with the scenario which will be finished on today or romorrow (I hope).

How much testing should I do before the beta call?

Last thing you ate: I drank thee
What you're wearing right now: Blue pyjamas, grey slippers and a brown bathrobe, and my glasses.
Describe the room you are in: 3 x 4 meters, a desk of wood with iron supports, a Macintosh (on) and a Windows (off) on the desk, with a printer in the middle, schoolbooks all around me on the floor... I'll stop now, I think

I don't know what OS you are using, but if you are using OS 9, you'll be stuck with netscape 7.2. That is what I'm using at the moment. It is still good, but I'd rather use Firefox.

So, my scenario getting nearer and nearer to beta. With still 4 towns to finish (probably ready in two days), I only need some graphics for the introduction sequence of the scenario. As I am really bad with making such things, I've thought that, as the graphics of Smoo's MoC were such a success, I might ask an artist.

You will have to be able to draw people, possibly cat-shaped creatures (like Nephilim) and forests/cities and the like.

I'd take either Mozzilla Firefox, or Netscape. both are good, but Mozzilla might be just a bit better.
