Yeah, I think it has to do more with your audience than the Xbox's. KotOR I and II are two of my favorite console RPGs.

Okay... Let's review several facts here. The links posted are to Ukrainian and Russian sites, which are of little help to most of General. The topic starter has listed his or her e-mail address as being "Illidane@pcworld.org.ua"; we see the pcworld site again in the address of one of the linked sites. Finally, the poster has made only two posts; one was a single word, and the other was written in Internet Chat style.

The only thing I can't decide is whether General was trolled or spammed.

The mage who opens the secret room is immediately south of the wizard to whom you bring evidence. The room with the tomes is immediately south of the mage's position.

There was a thread in the Lyceum about it. I think the poster was on Windows. And the final conclusion was

I don't about the rest of you, but for me the error message is "Tried to open zero-sized topic 000433 in forum 21. at CGIPath/ubb_lib_files.cgi line 777." Forum 21 is Geneforge 4.

My computer problems got better, but then they got much worse. I'm guessing I won't have the steady access necessary to write IC posts. I entrust the vampires, Mannik, and Cassius to Dikiyoba and Seoth; and if ET wants to use Kuberr, he is welcome to. These donations may be ignored, made into NPCs, or RPed with. Assume when making decisions that I will not regain control of them later.

Posting in those forums was nearly independent of having played the actual games. You wouldn't be carrying over players and discussions, you'd be attracting spam; and definitely some of it would be unwanted and idiotic.

Seeing this post made me think of the Illuminati. Then I remembered the conspiracy theories involving Jews, and I thought that fit better. And it creates an interesting contrast with ET's picture.

If you were here in person, I would've smacked the hell out of you over that(knowing my luck, you'd be a lot bigger and tougher than me, but I'd still do it).

Anyway, I fail to see how my joking comment on their continuously telling each other about having PMs is any worse than 1) their having to keep telling each other this, and 2) your complaining about my joke about it.

I'm not talking about a single post; I'm talking about the posts which you've been making in this thread. You don't need to comment on every single thing which pops up in this thread, or respond to each new post. Having to sort through all of the side-conversations for actual information is bcoming a problem, and it appears to me that you tend to start and/or continue them.

Game Difficulty in The Avernum Trilogy

The tranformation from E3 into A3 generally meant not only more health for monsters, but also more damage dealt. Also, melee tends in the Avernum engines to do much more damage than magic will do to a single target.

If you want harder combat but the same engine, try the upper-level Blades of Avernum scenarios. Canopy, Bahssikava, and Exodus among others are known for being challenging (and if I forgot a scenario, I'm sorry; I haven't played most of the newer ones).

But it sounds like you already have Blades of Exile. I know there are fun and challenging scenarios for it, so why not play those?

I forgot that LF had already created a character named Serena; I changed the name of Syrene, a character I just introduced, into Nemesis.

I have also neglected Kesh's offer to Kuberr. But since he's already nominally allied to Cassius and since Cassius has declared Mannik a neutral city (and is willing to enforce its neutrality), I think it would be in character for Kuberr to refuse.

Also, what is Minoko's title and what exactly is she the patron god of?

I didn't find the original, but here is a quote of myself quoting Jeff.

There is some space in a corner of the vale that, when you step on it, makes a little message on the text area. At this point, there is another spot in the opposite end you can step on. If you do this IN THE SAME PLAY SESSION, the quotes on the chapter heading screens change to funny ones.

It's ridiculously obscure. I did better in other games.

I know this is a feature of the Exile 3 editor, but I'm not so sure about Avernum 3.

The Exile 3 editor had an option to make hidden towns explorable, regardless of what in-game actions you had taken. If the Avernum 3 editor has the option, that should work

So i spilled water all over the keyboard of the laptop with which i normally browse these forums. it may or may not go away, and as you can see im having extreme difficulty with the "i" key (i have to load it into the computer clipboard and push "CTRL-V" every time i want to type "i").

Anyway, i'll just say that im not happy at all with the way things have been going, nor have i been for a while. Firm action has to be taken, but people should also avoid creating an even bigger mess or ovrereacting.
