This doesn't explain anything at all. What I asked was…

1. Do animals go to heaven or hell?

2. Do Christians believe animals have souls?

3. If animals don't have souls, what are the differences between our spirits and theirs?

4. If animals don't have souls, does that put them on the same level as plants in God's eyes?

5. What about us is our soul? Is it our thoughts, or feelings, or what?

Biblical quotes would be interesting if anyone knows of any.

My great grandmother died about four years before my birth. From what I have heard of her I would have really enjoyed meeting her. She was the first in our family to emigrate here from Macedonia. She always said we are the descendants of Alexander the Great, but there is nothing to support that. It would have been nice to learn more of my culture from her, but it is difficult to mourn the loss of someone I have never met.

Depending on the topic. I could argue the meat eater vs. vegan/vegetarian, but it would be from a nutritional angle rather than a political angle. I was a vegetarian for about six months; it didn't work out well for me.

Oh please no more abortion. Anything but that.

If animals don't have souls, than what in us is our soul? What thoughts, feelings, or behaviors define a soul or lack of?

Is either of these things specifically spoken of in the bible?

I would say God would be lonely alone, but than again a perfect being should be content with its own company.

Does the bible say specifically if animals go to heaven?

I never liked alcohol. Brownies were always so much tastier, and they didn't make me feel hot and dizzy.

I would not directly call you an idiot, as it would be unkind. Considering your 1990 comment you must be 15 or so. There is no excuse for lack of capital letters or punctuations marks. All computers have a typing program of some sort. The spelling and grammar checked would be useful. You have said you would work on that, so trust is questionable.

I was born 1984, and I'm glad to say no false teeth here :D

I light of that being about half, the last numbers will be 275, and the number I was dwelling on first 264.

Edit: Something tells me that those cookies wouldn't be quite as tasty as the brownies.

Or that there are people who would actually eat spam.

My apologies it is the same as calling tissue Kleenex. Such things are ingrained from childhood. The only time I have seen it labeled to as Jelly was a store brand.

To BSC:
Just as we use wood to build our home the Shapers use living tools to work. Just as we have guard dogs the Shapers have pylons. I have not see a reference to the more simplistic creations having consciousness. I do remember reading somewhere that the spore boxes have feeling, or at least they are aware of being touched.

My guess about the plants being capable of different defenses, and the mines being different levels of explosives is just that. Maybe they are different breeds.

In GF1 the Shapers said they did not know about the Scholai. That implies that the Shapers have not explored the entire world. It seems they go place to place destroying than barring locations. Maybe they discover new lands when they close old ones.

I don't remember hearing about birds. I certainly haven't seen any if they do exist. The only livestock seems to be Ornks. I guess they live on pork, green, fruit, and bread.

Shades are simply spirits. What rights do the dead hold? If they attack you they are angry spirits, but I never attacked a shade that left me alone. The shades in GF2 in the pit of the bound one were prisoners. They were contained spirits that wanted to be free. It seems to not exist would be preferable to being an eternal slave.

Coincidentally, it is also the name of a popular foodstuff, available for purchase in dehydrated form in many supermarkets. Perhaps that is where you have heard the name before.

I believe you are thinking of Jello, and no I read it here.

Edit: Note that I am aware that jam and jelly are partially dehydrated. That post reminded me of the Kool-Aid man.

I don't believe death to necessarily be a disadvantage. I suppose it could be if the next incarnation is worse than the one said being is experiencing now. The concept of hell is fascinating in the sense that it claims that an ethereal being has sensation. Pain and pleasure are perceptions of the body.

Hell could be a mental realm. Perhaps one spends eternity with their fears, or things and people they never wish to encounter. Most faiths depict hell as extreme heat, cold, or different forms of torture. Maybe the memory of having felt pain will alive is enough to cause the spirit to experience sensation as they would while living.

I have a better feeling about heaven and hell being different states of life. The generous are born wealthy, and the greedy born poor. The compassionate receive love, and the hateful receive pain. Of course this demands some sort of justice in the universe, but so dose Christianity is determining who in born into heaven, and who is condemned to hell.
