I haven't been around here for a long while, but I've been playing A3 over the past week or two, so I thought I might try and reestablish myself (doubtless I'll end up failing... )... So what's been happening? :D Anyone remember me? At all?
I was thinking of discarding the name ørangutan, since I haven't used it since I stopped coming here... maybe...

I'll try and register BoA next, I think... it's been sitting around on my harddrive doing nothing since I completed VoDT. :P I want to play people's scenarios...

I also notice there's a Geneforge 3 out- wow! :D And plans for an Avernum 4? cool :D
I never really got into Geneforge 1 or 2 though so I'm not really sure about 3....

Anyway, I may or may not be around from time to time. I don't use the internet as much as I know a lot of you do. (It's partly why I was around for about a year, in times of yore, without ever reaching 500 posts or something like that. :P )

I remember you. Have a rice ball.

EDIT: Also, I think ørangutan is a fine name. If you change your name, it will take me months until I realize you changed your name and to what it was changed. Either way, you will still be called ørangutan, in all likelihood. Some people still call me Zeeqon.

You can use 8 emoticons per post. That's the magic number. When someone uses eight, I mentally add another dozen, since they would likely have posted much more if they could.

Edit: Eight, okay. Not six.

:) :) :)

Coincidentally, it is also the name of a popular foodstuff, available for purchase in dehydrated form in many supermarkets. Perhaps that is where you have heard the name before.

I believe you are thinking of Jello, and no I read it here.

Edit: Note that I am aware that jam and jelly are partially dehydrated. That post reminded me of the Kool-Aid man.

Don't force your American nomenclatural hegemony on me. Jell-O's a brand name, and it's not a brand that's widely available over here. So we call the crystalline gelatin dessert "jelly".

My apologies it is the same as calling tissue Kleenex. Such things are ingrained from childhood. The only time I have seen it labeled to as Jelly was a store brand.

Jelly is what we put on toast. Silly people across large bodies of water!

—Alorael, who does not call it jelly if it wobbles alarmingly when poked and comes in colors nature never intended.
