It has nothing to be ashamed of :P -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Posts: 564 | Registered: Wednesday, April 14 2004 07:00 |

I suppose that it would be possible to do a special spell for them, though it would likely either be limited to a few monsters or take a large amount of code. -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." I believe the SCA does have a division that competes with the real weapon- just the armor requirements are much higher than when you compete with the boffers. At least that was how it was when I looked at it about a year ago. Posts: 564 | Registered: Wednesday, April 14 2004 07:00 |

Yeah, this topic again. Are there any scenarios in BoA that have the Soul Crystal in them? As to what I have in mine... Cave Cow Chicken Dog (empty)( or maybe I have a cat) Got to love the farm animals, killing golems with cows became quite amusing for a very short period of time. -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Because just like anything else, things will differ from game to game, and because J_V as you affectionatly term him is a veritable genius  However, Welcome and all that follows along with that. ;) -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Yeah that would work but is not accessible from this computer. Basically I don't need librarians peering over my shoulder and seeing TM's insignia :P . I don't have access to the internet from my private computer at the moment, and I'm really not willing to risk an infraction of the rules, which is why I had discontinued my involvement in the arena/TEAL due to the graphics that are unsuitable for public computers. Is there any keyboard short that will pull up the menu for the selected item that right clicking does? Or is there a shortcut to the disable option? Is there any way to block images from a site that works w/o being able to use the right mouse button, and doesn't require any significant alteration of settings? The Empire Always Loses is not meant to be accessed from a library computer is it? :o Posts: 564 | Registered: Wednesday, April 14 2004 07:00 |

The Orb doesn't have a number in BoA, as far a I know. In A3 however the number is 378. And this was a very dead topic...... Does everyone go through all the old topics just doing their best to find something that they might be able comment on? -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Reading Feist, I don't see the grounds for enthusiasm. Enjoyable yes, but great? I don't see it. As for the women... in WoT, they help string the thing along. None of them are natural, all go to extremes. And all of them are very centered on men. Reading some of RJ's earlier works under another alias illustrates his view on women heroines. He tries to flesh them out but they tend towards being sex objects more than anything else...... So in answer to how to tolerate them? Just do your best to ignore them so that you can read all the semi-generic plot that Jordan churns out. Or possibly a better solution, just don't read the series anymore, somehow I wonder if he ever intends to finish it. Posts: 564 | Registered: Wednesday, April 14 2004 07:00 |

At least this one is more comprehensive. And on a highly random note, can you vote in your own poll? I really don't feel like asking an inane question to find out. :P Posts: 564 | Registered: Wednesday, April 14 2004 07:00 |

Well whats your definition of adventure? Do you have to be by yourself or with a small group? In case that an adventurer is one that has adventures, there are a lot more people that could be discussed. Would you call Armstrong's little step an adventure? Is he an adventurer? The RP adventurer doesn't really seem to be that common in real life. Posts: 564 | Registered: Wednesday, April 14 2004 07:00 |

Probably they would go with the programmer's BoE since plot probably is compatible with both. As for spelling...... I you can read quite a few different topics on that all expressing the same thing. Spelling is important to a lot of the members on this board, which makes it advisable to pay some attention to it. Misspelling distracts from the whatever merit there is what you are trying to say, and makes it hard for me at least to take the writer seriously. correct spelling shows that you put enough time/effort into your post for it to be worth reading :) Not that I am the perfect speller or anything. -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." quote:Did you enjoy those books? Seemed rather incoherent to me. Love affair between an advanced computer and an ancient whale? I probably missed the point of the book, but I don't really care enough to put myself through reading it again. On WoT I have to agree that even though nothing happens during the last 3000 pages, nothing happens in a semi interesting fashion and the 3000 pages were worth reading, though not really worth buying, - Is Jordan going to do the entire series in the "children's" editions before advancing onwards? Books I'm reading at the moment: Anna Karenina- Tolstoy The Idiot- forget how to spell the guy's name Out of the Silent Planet and series- Lewis Atlas Shrugged- Ayn Rand and assorted "Informational Books" edit: As I rescanned my post I saw my signature and it reminded me to promote Faust as a very enjoyable work (or at least Part 1) [ Friday, January 07, 2005 08:19: Message edited by: m's avatar ] Posts: 564 | Registered: Wednesday, April 14 2004 07:00 |
