You are very astute But if for some reason you happen to be a power hungry freak that wants to become extremely powerful( not that this ever happens) assessing power differences in the game can be entertaining :D -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Well- I'm pretty sure that for power you should go either to the Barzites or the Takers. If you are flush with $$$ as a shaper, I would become a Barzite due to the two levels of gazer/rotgroth/drakon that are buyable in Radiant College. The availability of powerful canisters seems to be higher there as well, so I would probably choose Barzites for guardian as well. For Agents though I would go with the awakened first and then desert to the Takers. Opinions probably very widely on this though as level 3 skills in everything are available on almost any modified( as opposed to no-canister)games -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Question? Would it be possible w/o major amounts of scripting to create two parallel worlds that could be transfered between at will to the coresponding location to the location the party was at in the first world? Sorry if my question is unclear, the idea is slightly unformed at the time. If understandable how would it be done? -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." A very fun way to kill a doomguard is to use shock wave. If you are hasted you can split the first one into about 6 with every use. It's amazing how long it takes to kill the doom guards after 4 or 5 uses of the spell. -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Sorry to catch you out but- There actually is a semi-complicated way to keep them from splitting. If you summon large amounts of creations the game will not let any more monsters to be created and the doom guard will be unable to split. The difficulty is in not letting your creations hit the doom guard before there are enough so that it won't split. I was able to solve this with barriers though. This of course is semi-cheating because it takes advantage of a fluke in the game but if doomguards are a huge difficulty, or if they just get tedious this works very well. :) -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Hey Is the door directly north of the first question/answer set in the test of mind just a red herring, or is there actually a way to open it. It seems kind of funny to have somthing in a place that you can only go to once. Playing through these games again seems to bring up lots of random questions. So another one is for E3. In the northwest of the outside world there is a mission to destroy a kitty stronghold. They are in cave with various puzzles. The second puzzle with crates seems to have no point. What is the point? My last question is again for E3. I read somewhere that there are other places to get quickfire besides Blackcrag. Out of curiosity are there, and if yes where? -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." I believe there is a character editor similar to the one for GF1. I', not sure where to find it but most searches will probably get it for you. -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." I went through it w/o canisters and the ending still treats you as if you gained unnatural power. The ending is no different than with canisters -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." The answer to the first part of the question is easy- If you use the Geneforge the ending has you create a seperate kingdom so the shaper council dislikes you. As far a the second part it is extremely difficult to do it as solo guardian but if curiosity about ending is all that bothers you, you can use the cheats to see. Of course it may be possible to do it the hard way. Sorry about the double post I'm not quite sure what I did [ Thursday, July 29, 2004 09:33: Message edited by: macrsp ] -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Naming creations is rarely important to me but the rat in GF2 is always Shadow Scout. The fun of keeping some of these weak creatures is that it makes the game more challenging to have to keep them alive. -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." The central building houses the machine that disturbs creations. To get in there is a lever in the same building as Shath :) -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'."
