yeah.. The readme I looked for it since I had heard people mention such things but.... I don't see it. It should be under the folder Emerald Mountain but it's not. Oh well. And I use ..... way too much..... I started out exploring the east side coincidentally but found nothing. In the scripts there is a goblin that you talk to that tells about the "big strong man" or somthing like this, is he what I'm looking for? As for starting a new topic- why? This one was created by me so it has my name on it and this question was not so important that it needed a new topic to attract attention. Hurrah for more silly questions! For that one I was overlooking a simple wheel in the Chief's quarters But.... This ones for Emerald Mountain Soo... I'm in the cave getting chased around by the weirdo stone guy and getting absolutly nothing done. Their does not seem to be any point. Obviously there is a point but- What is it? :) -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." quote:Well if you have a staff of 500 people working for your nifty little company then.... Or then again maybe he was being sarcastic --==-- + + __ ==== But as to the A4 thing- The sparkly engine would be nice- but I never enjoyed the Avernum series as much as Exile. It never had the same appeal as that magical CD with a demo RPG on it 10 years ago. I kinda agree that once something is pretty much rapped up, it is difficult to unrap it. I think that something before the start of A1 would be the most appealing though. I'll at least try the demo whatever it though. Sounds like your perfect opportunity for a scenario ;< Also- A little post revival, eh? Some people get irate about such things. -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Hello -Playing ASR and I just sacked the secret imperial fort. I can't seem to find how to raise the portucilis to get to the wheel that raises the entry portulcilis- Oh and how do you spell portuculios? :) Another question- This one objective rather than factual. The description says this scenario is unusual because of the ability to make choices- isn't this kinda standard? How can it be unusual if at the time that it was created there were only 4 Boa scenarios anyways. -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Ummm.... You've actually tried a racing wheel chair? They probably are a lot different. Plus no sport is exactly easy to get incredibly good at so that wouldn't be too much of a difference. The only problem is why would someone want to unless it was pretty much the only speed competition available to them? Posts: 564 | Registered: Wednesday, April 14 2004 07:00 |

I've only heard of the special olympics- And they seem to happen every year locally and everybody gets a prize. Its for mental handicaps not physical. I don't think that there is an actual world wide special olympics though. It would kind of defeat the point. Obviously being handicapped does not disqualify people for the olympics, it just makes it very hard. However I have seen some stuff on physically handicapped people who have things like racing wheelchairs and other stuff like that.( This sounds rather funny but its actually an interesting sport) Though it would not be possible to race in track and field for the handicapped it often would be possible for the unhandicapped to participate in things like wheelchair races. Not quite true. ;) If your Unlock skill is high enough you can get in but there is little point- nothing to do in there. Not that locations will help you get into the fortresses. The ziggurats location is north of Erika's Tower quite a ways, and a little east if I remember correctly. I think that it is built on top of the fort that was destroyed by Khoth in E1. -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." The AP point reducers are often mental magic- Or it happens when you get hit really hard. So the best way to prevent this is to stun the enemy first. As far as resisting them I think that mental magic and intelligence help you against the daze spells and the endurance helps you with the stun attacks. I would suggest not attacking the Drayk and Ice Specters because there is an easier way to achieve your goal here. However, if you want, you can forget about this quest for a while and keep playing till you are able to kill, say one of the leaders, and then you shouldn't have to much trouble with the rogue drayk here. -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Hrumph I don't think that it is just a leadership of zero needed- I have that and he sent me on a mission for whaleskin tights- wherever you get those. I just hope that I don't have to wear them.... Are there any other unusual stats that you have that might let you skip this mission? I just don't even want to see him with that whaleskin on- Silly Eskimo. -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Whatever your talking about may work, but I really don't know what your talking about. Large Arrow? Path? Not that this all really matters- At the moment I'm just really bored of waiting for something. Oh well. Wow over a day w/o a reply. You lie- Or you just made a mistake- It's not required to beat the game at all. There is more than one way to produce the desired effect. I've had the same problem playing those games- but only when the game froze. A few suggestions Was this a one time incident or does it happen every time you play? Try turning off the sound through the game not the speakers. -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'." Yeah, more silly puzzles. Or don't rejoice with me at my inability to figure out this "remote cave" of puzzles. Is the solution to the third part of this cave as irritating as actually having to look in the crate that you get to the rune? Cause whatever it is my brain can't discover it. Hrumph "triangles" Edit: Pardon the lack of coherent thought. Its late..... :o [ Thursday, September 16, 2004 18:02: Message edited by: macrsp ] -------------------- "Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are false'."
