And then we will go to another planet and eat chips!

In other news, I ate spam once at camp. It was fine. Tasted like indistinct meat (which makes sense). I can't say that I'd ever want to eat it again, not because of the taste, but because of the apparent ingredients.

More than 2 traits possible? in Nethergate

I would've imagined it would be possible in much the same way as the Ability Rune in the HLPM in BoA accomplishes this (have some script calls that add traits). I gather that's not what you did.

You may not be aware of this, but you're posting on the message boards for a company that sells fantasy role-playing computer games. Said games are popular among a fairly young audience.

Posts pointlessly insulting the moderating staff are at best spam and at worst a grievous violation of the CoC. ET has never learned this.

In A1, nephils and sliths are still mostly enemies, so they're not available as PCs.

Fast on Feet does allow you to attack more than once in a round sometimes, but it does not allow you to cast more than once in a round. Attacking is 4 movement points, and casting is 5; you default with 4 and Fast on Feet gives you 1 extra.

I've usually done two multi-classed mage/priests, but that's just because the top mage and priest spells are really, really powerful and having two casters of each seems better than one. I originally just used one of each and it was fine.

You'll have no trouble gaining lots of levels no matter what your XP penalty is, as long as you do lots of sidequests and check out every area very thoroughly.

This comment would be more useful if it weren't so obviously shallow.

What, you think that letting your personal biases interfere with your presentation of facts is a virtue?

At least one person claimed to have resisted dumbfounding once or twice (and then to have been promptly dumbfounded right afterwards). Someone other than Rent-An-Ihrno, that is.

But yeah, the simplest solution for Mung Demons is to blow all of your spell points right before the battle with buffs and then go nuts with melee fighters. If you've equipped your spellcasters with arrows, now's the time to use them.

I support such an endeavor. Jeff can be pretty darn funny when he tries to be. (His sense of humor can be rather wicked, too, and I'm not sure how that would play with his usual audience, but I think he or the septuagenarian eskimos could adjust.)

I don't understand why anyone reads ET's posts anymore. They're never insightful or useful in any way. They're just embarrassing and pathetic.

His persona is so confused that it doesn't even make any sense. He wants to pretend he's a monarch ("Emperor"), a Nazi dictator ("Concluding Resolution" = "Final Solution"), and a civil rights leader (the "I have a dream" earlier in this thread). If I cared about anything that ET says, I would be offended by his effort to play both Hitler and MLK at the same time.

Please, everyone, stop responding to ET. Just don't reply when he says anything. It's what I've been doing for a long time, and I'm much better off for it. Reply to me, reply to others in this thread, but not to him. Please.

OotS is brilliant. I also read newspaper comic strips.

As for comic books, I just found out that you can buy every X-Men comic from the beginning to a few years ago on DVD for not very much, and I've started working my way through that. And wow, the X-Men of the 1960's were not the X-Men of the 1990's, which were the ones that I knew.
