Maybe Shaper Monarch is Master Hodge the teacher at the shaper school in the begining of Geneforge 3. Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

Geneforge 4 doesn't use fonts so Windows' variable font sizes do not impact the game's layout. This game displays text with images (G250 to G254). [ Wednesday, April 04, 2007 14:34: Message edited by: Gabriel's Horn ] Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

*Spoilers ? In Geneforge 3 there are three people who can join you. There are the two main ones Greta and Alwan in the early game. I also think there is a third, a shaper who will join you if you are a loyal shaper, I think (I was pro-rebel when I found him. He wouldn't join me because of it). He is in Geneforge 4 too. In Shaper Monarch's holding cell is a captured shaper. I think it is the same one from Geneforge 3. -It sounds like he has become Pro-Trakovite. Speaking of the year 2100. How are we going to register our demos once everyone associated with Spiderweb software is long dead? Is Jeff going to release the freeware versions of his games on his deathbed? Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

If you have at least 4 leadership points you can fight Master Hodge, with the right dialog choices. Of course it means instant death. :D Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

The Unbound will be given intelligence. They aren't going to be absorbed, well except for the mad ones. I think the Shapers once went through a time when they were like the Rebels. Until a few disasters made them restrictive/paranoid of mishandling the art of shaping. Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

Shapers have a fixation for making living things for any task or object. When it doesn't work out it horrifies them. In the real world, it would horrify us equaly if robotic death drones were turned against us. Or, if our computer monitors were wired to double as a gamma-ray gun, just sit there one moment then zap! [ Sunday, March 18, 2007 21:40: Message edited by: Gabriel's Horn ] Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

I tried this and it didn't work. It looks like adding a custom color to the PC character doesn't work. At least in the PC version. My guess is that there is a custom color code for the player which is perhaps hard coded. Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

Who if any of the battle creations can do a double attack? When you have the correct skills you can hit something in melee (not missle) and you attack twice. Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

How does Geneforge change your character's color at the begining on the choice screen? Where is this set, in a script? How can you change the color choices to say orange, teal, purple instead of red, green, blue? Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

I use the Shock Trooper to smack the enemy from behind with batons and gems. I have always played my shapers this way in previous games. I never have enough essence to cast spells after I make my creations. P.S. The graphic is a Shock trooper holding a baton. Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

The Lifecrafter does have pants, tan pants. I have looked at the large "chat graphic." Notice how his hand is lighter than his leg? And how the leg stretches out over the shoe? It is just close enough to skin color to fool most people. Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

I like the idea and have thought about it in the past. This idea would work best as its own simulation game (just like the Sims). I remember the mansion from Avernum 3 and it had a novelty value. However, I would rather not be bothered with it when I'm solving the last plot point. Or, have it lost in an earlier area. This may work in its own game but not in Geneforge 5. The world of Geneforge is as big or small as you want to imagine. I'd imagine it is very much bigger though since crossing a zone on foot is sometimes refered to as a days journey. I'd guess the Shaper's main continent would be many hundreds of zones across. I don't think it is even fully colonized because they are still building colonies and shaping plant forms that haven't spread across the world yet. I'm guessing "middle ages" population levels, small pockets of population centers, and many miles of wilderness. Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

When I read this forum it looks like everyone prefers creations from the Fire and Magic circles. Are battle creations totally weak or are they treated as grunts to be ignored? Why doesn't doesn't anyone brag about their army of thahds or clawbugs? Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

At the begining of the game, When Greta sends me to question Agent Miranda there are two other cells in the prison. In one cell is a rogue Glaahk. In the other cell is a mad servile. Why are they there, to taunt me? How can I help them, if that's possible? Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

Jeff says that RPG games waste your time. I agree. I think it's time for an adventure game. However, I think Jeff is afraid they won't sell. My only adventure game was: Star Trek 25th Anniversary. I really liked it, because it was Sci-fi and Star Trek. [ Sunday, March 04, 2007 16:56: Message edited by: Gabriel's Horn ] Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

What happens when I gain a level? Do I only get skill points? Are my stats like health multiplied by level or is it based on the number skill points I have invested in the target area? Is there anything else? Posts: 26 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |
