(UN)Informative every time! Why is it that when people say they aren't going to be on the internet, people ask them questions through the internet? They can't answer you. And once they are back online, and thus able to post a reply, the whole thread becomes as pointless as tasteless cheese. Just a thought. (Note: this post constitutes a spam post. But since I noticed it, and drew attention to it, it's okay.) [ Wednesday, July 13, 2005 00:27: Message edited by: SupaNik ] -------------------- "I am a living sign..." Thus endeth this post. I voted for three. I don't tend to sleep regularly, and that's just an average of all the sleep I had last week divided by seven. Usually I can go one or two days without sleep, but then have 8 or 9 hours in one go. Recently though, I've been sleeping after school, waking up at sixish and then staying awake. None of that is caffeine related. It's probably a mental condition, but since it doesn't interfere with my grades, or my health in any (noticeable) way, I haven't seen a doctor. It does have one great side effect though - really vivid, lucid dreams. An interesting sidenote - Margaret Thatcher used to get just 4 hours a night! -------------------- "I am a living sign..." You sure can. I was refering to the spawners in the area previous to the Creator's Lair, or whatever it might be calling itself these days. -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? quote:Ah, but wait - aren't the drakons able to fly? Look at the end of Geneforge 3, and 2 for that matter. The drakons are flying around and burning things. They can fly. Oh, and the golms don't die in the purification plant because Jeff didn't want you to be able to stand still and just wait for them to die in the atmosphere. Which would happen... Indeed, you do need 10 leadership. But that's hard to get on Greenwood Isle. I tried, but I was so woefully weak, I couldn't fight my way through the spawners to get to the Creator. Your best bet is to get the Commander (Hevig) to let you just see the Creator. You can try killing it too - daze works well on it's mates, and Alwan and Great should help. In short, get the FAQ. -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Who do you need to know? Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

I'm currently doing number 10 on the list - I haven't died yet, neither have I saved, except for Autosave. I have loaded Autosave, but only when turning my computer on at half past three (pm). I would leave it on all day, but my mum would scream and wave the electricity bill at me, and my brother would probably mess it up. Latest - 37 confirmed dead. And, at about 10pm GMT yesterday, more ambulances rushed to the sites, stayed for a while, and left... Plus, "rumblings" have been reported beneath the city. More bombs? Or, more likely - fire. If anyone's still trapped down there, God Forbid, then lets hope they are found quickly. -------------------- "I am a living sign..." Thus endeth this post. Want to use the cannisters, but scared the Shaper's back home won't like you? Want to become uber-powerful, have an army of drayks, but don't want the boys back home to see? Ok. Here goes... Save your game, and hit shift-d. Type in "sdf 100 4 0". Press enter. There! You now haven't partaken in any cannisters. If you use this before boarding the boat to the mainland, you can see two endings in one game! -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Apparently it's an Al- Queda splinter group, operating in Europe. (Link to the Madrid bombings?) Here in England, everyone's going crazy. Thankfully I wasn't in London, but my heart goes out to all those affected. So far, 33 have been confirmed dead. Hundreds, if not thousands are injured. Lets hope the b*stards who carry out these atrocities are brought to justice. How long can we let them terrorise not just England, but the entire world? They must have planned it long ago - we've known the location of G8 was in Scotland for a long time - and London was at it's weakest. They must have known that. Thankfully, our emergency services worked miracles - they were there in under 5 minutes, according to the BBC. They doubtlessly saved many lives. -------------------- Everybody knows, but nobody understands. Thus endeth this post. Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

It's been mentioned before, but the first visitation would make a cool film. Speaking from an amatuer film-makers point-of-view, Avernum 2 would be much better - war, good plot, nice baddie. The costs of prduction would be astronomical though, unless someone knows where we can fnd a serious of caves like those of Avernum... -------------------- "I am a living sign..." First things first. Or wherever this post is... On no occasion should you: a) Complain about your Karma level b) Complain about your lack of a Custom Title c) Complain about any unwanted attention you recieve from elastic band flicking weirdos. Ahem. So, hi. Everyone else has said the important things, except maybe to not take this place seriously. Or with sugar. Hopefully, you should be ok. And to clear up any confusion, Alo DOESN'T eat newbies. He points Artic into their direction / talks about them when nobody's looking. -------------------- "I am a living sign..." Saunders is a lady. But she has kids... woo her if you will, but be warned. I love the word woo! Anyway, the ratio is pretty good, if it is indeed 2:1. Most forums I used to frequent were mostly guy orientated. We welcomed just one female. Although, I can't help but wondering why this is important. We don't use this boards as a kinda virtual dating agency. Or, at least, we shouldn't do. -------------------- "I am a living sign..." Thus endeth this post. Hi, I'm Nikki / The Paranoid Android. I live in Derbyshire, which Americans always mispronounce, in a wet, foggy and damp place called England. I am 17, nearly 18, and am around 6 feet in height. I weigh a little under 9 stone. My passions are writing, reading, posting here, girls (a girl), and acting like a clown. I am usually very moody and depressive. My favourite books are "The increasingly inaccurately named" Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy trilogy, and The Hobbit. I am currently at college, studing English Literature, Econoics, History and Psychology. My musical interests include Radiohead, The Smiths, and anything that can be categorised under the very generic banner of "indie". My favourite song is this one. I also like this. My favourite food is strawberry jam sandwches, with very strong coffee. I am an insomniac. The most important person in the world is currently in Menorca, decorating her parents new house. And my BoA scenario will be finished soon. -------------------- "I am a living sign..." Thus endeth this post. Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

It's a wild guess, but maybe your screen resolution is too low? If the buttons are actually off the screen as opposed to mashed up, try right-clicking your desktop, then clicking properties. Somewhere on this screen should be a slider which says screen resoultion. Change it too 800 x 600. That might work. For once an off-topic discussion that's better than the topic! I'm an avid Radiohead fan, so I'm listening to that constantly. I have no qualms with swear words.
