OOC: Now to bring my plan into action. The retrieval of Neris. The missing dragonfly holds the key.

IC: Schostas finishes drinking the mead and gives a slight smile of approval to the bartender. But the bartender can hold back his questions no longer and sits down on a chair close to Schostas so he can question him. "Ye said ye ha' taken care of m' precious Neris. How'd ye do this in yer coma? I saw not'ing. Can ye ples explain?"

Schostas sets the mug down on a stand next to the bed and sits up. "Well, I did tell you not to worry about Neris. Tell me, did you find any of my summoned creatures absent at the end of the day's fight?" The bartender thinks for a few minutes and then replies. "Well, com' t' think of it, der was one dragonfly missin'. But w' figured it was kilt." Schostas gives a mischievous smile.

"Uh-uh. While you were running back to the inn in a frenzy to obey my orders, I summoned the creatures. Just before you reached the inn and turned around to see the creatures, I gave a mental command to one of the dragonflies to follow Neris and her kidnappers. I can assure you that it will bring her back safely when it gets the chance."

The bartender smiles at him and while overcome will gratitude and emotion, hugs Schostas tightly. Schostas is too weak to hug him back and feels rather awkward about doing so as well. But the bartender leaves him to his recovery and goes back to his counter. Schostas gets up and walks to his window. It faces the Geraldian side and he can see their camp far off in the distance. He knows soon the dragonfly will carry out his orders as the twilight begins turning to day. It had better act soon, or it will be a clear target in the daylight.

OOC: Premonition, it is up to you to use the dragonfly to help you escape. It can pick you up and carry you back to the inn. Make it fast, as it won't be easy to do it during the daylight hours. The dragonfly possesses the ability to talk to people, as all the summoned creatures are unusually intelligent.

Boy, I feel like such a loser here. I see everyone talking about action games that I never even heard of. That's probably because I am from the wrong generation. Being born in 1985 and only ever playing NES, Sega, and Nintendo 64 games.

I am becoming interested in all of the other games that are being mentioned. What are they about? I tried playing Baldur's Gate 2 once and didn't understand it. Not to mention it comes with a book of instructions as thick as a tome. And I do not have THAT much time on my hands. I don't read much as so as it is.

I played the game Myst once and enjoyed it very much. But when I borrowed Riven: The Sequel To Myst out of the library, I only got a short distance into the game before I became hopelessly confused. I might give Homeworld a try, seeing that I was never able to play it as it requested an Internet connection and I had none at the time.

I have played various types of computer games, very few of them advanced in any way. One of my favorite computer games of all time is from 1995. It is called, Titanic: Adventure Out of Time. For fans of the Titanic, it is once of the most realistic 3D games I have ever played. You are British Spy on board the Titanic. And you must come out of your cabin to complete your mission on the night that the Titanic strikes the iceberg.

A very thrilling game. I recommend it to everyone. The 3D graphics are excellent and you can find out more about it from this website.

Collectible Titanic Experiences

This site here is better.

Titanic: Adventure Out of Time

Now please give me the names of some of these other games so that I might check them out. And tell me what they are about?

The only 3D game I know how to play is Goldeneye on Nintendo 64. I once tried to play a 3D RP graphics game called Baldur's Gate 2 and didn't get anyway. It was too advanced for me. I took it back to the library and returned it within two days because it gave me a headache trying to figure it out.

I prefer games like Exile. Unfortunately, I haven't played any of the other Spidweb games yet. I made an attempt to play Nethergate, but the creation of the party confused me too much. There were too many things to choose from and I never got to the gameplay. IMAGE(Spiderweb Software Boards will spidweb ever change1_files/frown.gif) Sorry, I guess I am too used to the Exile series and systems like NES, Sega, and N64. I never caught on to the other game systems.

OOC: Time to get this RP going again.

IC: Celisto is enjoying her Chicken Cordon de Bleu and is just finishing the last of it when she feels a psychic disturbance nearby. She puts the final piece in her mouth and reached down for her necklace. She clutches the large crystal in her hand and then seems to go into a trance. Adventurers nearby to her table see what she is doing and ask her. But, she doesn't respond. In her trance, Celisto can see the streets of the town. There is a lot of fog in the way, so she casts a spell with her mind and the fog clears.

In real life, the fog is still there, but Celisto possesses the ability to see deeper into things. She scans each of the streets until she comes to the one in line with the graveyard and that has the inn along it. She sees two people standing in the darkness with a broken lantern lying on the ground next to them. As she heads towards the graveyard, she sees a whole cavalcade of undead heading right for the two people standing in the darkness. Behind all the undead, she can see a necromancer in the distance close to the graveyard, and one up on a roof oddly enough

She suddenly comes out of her trance and jumps up from her table. Someone asks her what she was doing. "I felt a psychic disturbance nearby and decided to scan the area with my mind."

One of them asks her what she saw that made her jump up so fast.

"There are two people lost out in the fog not far from here and..."

The adventurers all wait for a response.

"There is a large horde of undead heading towards them and us."

OOC: If that doesn't bring people back, nothing will. I am still waiting on Zephyr to bring his Cryobeast and it's siblings to the inn. Or at least say they are already there and have been there for a while.

Ay Okay. I shortened it considerably and brought things more to the point. It is much, much shorter than it was. I look forward to seeing the results for the rest of the RP. Alcove is about done now. Celestia might even join in the fighting. Though since she is a mere illusion-like spirit, I doubt that she can do much. Though she was a mage in real life and can be a magical spirit, I don't have the mental energy to bring her into the fight.

OOC: I like it. Thank you. IMAGE(biggrinB.gif) I will reintroduce a character that wasn't even actually in the RP. Alcove's old witch teacher, Alcove.

IC: Alcove gets up off the floor after having been knocked down by the force of the shockwave. But as she gets to her feet, she finds a single haikaa standing directly in front of her, or what she thinks is a haikaa. She doesn't get a look of horror however, but instead gets a smirk on her face. She recognizes the demon as an old teacher of hers.

Alcove: "So, we meet again, Alcove. I never would have figured that you would have joined the demons in the Netherworld. Why did you come back now of all times?"

Old Witch Spirit (Alcove): "Oh, it's not what you think. I didn't come back to fight you or any of your friends and I am not a demon, but am here in full spirit and I cannot be harmed by any means. My name is not actually Alcove, by the way. My real name was known around this world as Celestia Kilborne."

Alcove and everyone else in the room gets a look of complete shock. Baltazar with all of his wounds still lies on the ground and he is more horrified at her appearance than he is shocked. Alcove is the first to question her.

Alcove: "You mean THE Celestia Kilborne!!!!? The same Celestia Kilborne who was the warrior and mage queen of Razatlab the Great!!? But it was written that she died almost 300 years ago and Razatlab disappeared and was never heard of again."

Celestia Kilborne: "Yes. I came through the portal to help bring about the destruction of my old adversary and husband, Baltazar, or should I say, Razatlab. Oh yes. He is much, much older than you think. He, in reality, is the lost Razatlab, the Great. Did it never occur to you that Baltazar spelled backwards is Razatlab?"

Alcove: "Strange that never occurred to me."

Celestia Kilborne: "He showed me a tome he had unearthed at the site rumored to be that of the Ancient Darubian Empire during his deadly expedition where only he survived. We secretly studied out of it for several years without anyone else knowing about it. Then one day he was drunk and told me that he killed all the people from the expedition while in his drunken stupor.

I told my children and got word out to the villagers and officials. Baltazar didn't find out for several days. And when he did, he accosted me and placed a curse on me that he created from modifying a new spell he had discovered. It was a modification of the near immortality spell. He changed it to make me live for a long time, but instead of staying young, I would gradually grow older and older aging one year for every seven I lived.

Even with my strong mage powers, I was unable to remove the curse. The people of the kingdom rebelled against Razatlab and he disappeared with the tome and was never heard from in that land again. I fled the kingdom with my children, came here to this island, and lived here for the rest of my life. But the curse made it so that I had to watch each generation of my family die."

She turns and looks at Baltazar with complete rage.

Celestia Kilborne: "One day he unexpectedly showed up at my door and we got into a fight where he killed me through strangulation. But now, I will finally get my revenge by sharing the secret of your immortality, Razatlab!!!!"
She turns her attention to the fighters in the room. "His strength and magic come from his robes!!! Remove them and he will weaken considerably!!!"
She then turns her attention back to Baltazar. "I have waited for this day for a long, long time!! YOU WILL NOT GET OUT OF THIS ROOM ALIVE!!!! I will see to that!!!"

Alcove: "You heard her!!!! GO FOR THE ROBES!!!!"

OOC: Ok. Next post please.

EDIT: There you go Nazgul, I shortened it a little bit and removed Kel-Aziz from it. I have a terrible memory, and must have forgotten.

OOC: I want to make it appear that the surviving summoned creatures show an abnormal amount of intelligence. And with Schostas still out cold and it being only halfway through the night, there isn't much for me to post.

IC: Schostas still remained in a magical coma and gave no signs of being anywhere near coming out of it anytime soon. A soldier was stationed to look after him throughout the night and let the others know if he showed any signs of improvement.

The summoned creatures that were outside wandering around suddenly started entering the inn, that is, the ones that were small enough to fit through the doorway were. It was apparent to everyone that these summoned creatures were more intelligent than any other they had ever seen before. How intelligent though, would soon be obvious. All three dryads had survived and were now sitting down at the same table in the middle of the inn. Their pale green skin and the white aurora about them put even the strongest of the soldiers on edge. But their beauty was awe-inspiring and everyone noticed it.

The soldiers almost started running away when the dryads began talking to them. Never had they ever expected that any summoned creature was intelligent enough to converse with them. However, the dryads assured the soldiers that they were perfectly harmless. They even sang for the people of the inn when someone that knew that dryads possess beautiful voices requested it. As they were singing to the soldiers, the only surviving spectre of three came in the door and sat at a table in the corner. Being dead, the bartender realized it wouldn't need any food. And even if it did, it probably helped itself to the dead soldiers outside.

The two drakes were too big to come inside, so they remained outside with the centaurs. Knowing this, the bartender had some food bought out to them. The drakes turned it down though saying they had already filled themselves on the flesh and bones from the bodies of the dead enemy soldiers. All three of the skeletons had been killed, as were all three of the giant lizards. They were scattered all over the field and had been torn apart by the advancing Lancians.

One of the dragonflies was apparently alive, but injured, and rested on the roof of the inn eating a piece of flesh from a dead soldier. The other was missing and could not be found. They had been busy biting and stinging various enemy soldiers on the field before it had become dark. Two of the three ice lizards were still alive and they too had eaten their fill of flesh from the bodies of the dead enemies. They had been able to chase off and destroy several soldiers with their icy breath during the fight before dusk. The ice lizards sat near the fire despite the fact that the heat tended to bother them somewhat. They sat with the others and chatted about their conquests.

Only two centaurs were summoned, and both were still alive. They accepted some food from the bartender when the drakes turned it down and gave verbal thanks back. The centaurs could fit inside of the inn, but they decided to stay outdoors. They had made themselves a cozy little fire to keep themselves, the drakes, the ice lizards, and the basilisks warm. Out of three hordlings, one was uninjured, one was dead, and the other mildly damaged. They were both sitting at tables in the inn talking to various people. Both were also chewing on some flesh-covered bones left by the drakes and one was having his wounds treated.

Two basilisks had been summoned and had turned at least ten enemy soldiers to stone before night came. They were completely undamaged because the enemy soldiers were too afraid to get anywhere near them for fear of being turned to stone. They had eaten their share of flesh from the dead as well. They were resting by the fire with the centaurs, the drakes, and the ice lizards and they were talking to them.

There were two ogre mages summoned, both were alive, and neither showed any sign of damage. They were also in the inn and were sitting close to the stairs that led to the sleeping quarters. Having been acclimated to a life in caves and barely having any luxuries, they were not used to the splendor that surrounded them in the inn. They were given wine and fried mushrooms with steak, which they found to be absolutely delicious. Never before had they tasted such wondrous things, and they expressed their delight to the bartender most heartily, who eventually struck up a conversation with them.

Then there were the three aranea that were summoned. They had somehow all managed to survive, though not without some injuries. They had made their way into the inn and had built themselves a series of webs in a corner of the room away from everyone else so they wouldn't bother anyone.

Even so, they would speak with surprisingly average voices, which were vastly different from that of their GIFTS cousins, to someone every now and then and that person would get into a conversation with them. When the bartender asked them if they needed anything, the aranea replied that they already fed on the bodies of some unfortunate soldiers that they had encased in webs and injected with poison to dissolve their insides. Then they told him that they sucked out the remaining fluid and that that was their meal. The bartender began to feel sick after hearing this and regretted asking.

Arrow was in a bed upstairs having his wounds treated, as was Vincent. The bartender made sure they got whatever they needed along the lines of food, medical help, drink, clothes, and supplies. The bartender was very distraught over the capture of Neris, but Schostas had told him to not to worry. He continued to wonder what he had meant by that. It looked to him like Schostas hadn't done a thing, but a gut feeling told him that Schostas did in fact do something. Though the bartender hadn't perceived it, maybe it was done while he was running towards the inn for dear life.

OOC: Sorry if that was incredibly long, but since no one posted anything for a while or described all of the creatures that were summoned, I had to take the time to do it and bring everyone up to speed as to what has happened, and which creatures were still alive. Not to mention, I do not intend to let this awesome RP die. :P :D

What I meant by great smiley faces can be found at these sites. These you have to download onto your computer and use them to replace the originals for Yahoo. You can even mix smilies from different sources.

Yahoo Themes: Smiley Update File

Naughty Smilies

These are just a few of the sites I was able to find. But you can take any picture you want, and edit it so you can use it in Yahoo. I don't know if you can do that with many other Messenger services. Here is a smiley page I found where I am considering getting some smiley graphics for Yahoo. But in order for a friend to see them, they have to download the same graphics or edit them in the same way that you did.

Smiley's Smilies

That site has days when it won't come online or you can't get through to it. This might be one of those days.

You know, I am terribly confused as to what is happening. Arancaytar post messed me up and I have no idea what is happening. Will someone give me an idea as to what has happened to Alcove? If I don't get an explanation, I will have no choice but to say she was teleported away or was destroyed by the explosion of the teleporter.

It annoys me that Eferas is mentioned as standing near the portal, but Alcove is completely left out of the story. Omlette, please explain the current situation to me. I am completely in the dark despite my Sherlock Holmes logic and observation. Even Sherlock Holmes can't work without the facts.

Unfortunately, I have a PC, so I don't know about any of the programs used on a Mac. And I don't like Mac computers very much.

Yahoo Messenger does the same thing as ICQ apparently. I know for a fact that you can send and receive messages while offline and the other person will get them. Yahoo Messenger is very easy to use and has what I think are the best of the smiley faces of any messenger on the Internet. I have MSN Messenger, but don't really use it because I have only one contact on it that I also have on Yahoo Messenger and AOL Messenger. So, we don't usually talk on it.

Is there anyone here who uses MSN Messenger or Yahoo Messenger? For some reason, people on AOL can't use Yahoo Messenger unless they download Internet Explorer first. I find Netscape to be faster than Internet Explorer. It all depends on the computer really.

Why is it that the Spidweb never added other Messenger services to their profile system? In other words, why is it that the only screen name you can give is for AOL Messenger? Why not add ones for Yahoo Messenger and MSN Messenger. I haven't the faintest idea what ICQ is. Could someone explain these things to me?

Does everyone in California use AOL? Because we certainly would never be able to afford it. I use PA.net and have Internet Explorer on my computer. Even though I never use it. I use Netscape instead. It's almost sad to see that some people have never even heard of Internet Explorer or Netscape.

I discovered Exile 1 around 1998 or 1999. I only had a 1980's computer before that. I discovered it by chance when I borrowed a cd-rom off of my neighbor, who upon when I returned it, took it to college and I never heard of it again. That computer crashed a few times, and I lost the game in the first crash. It took me three years to find another copy. I didn't get the Internet until June of this year, so I have been suffering a long time.

I played the game to the fullest when I first discovered it. But at that time, I was unable to register it. I discovered the version I played had the original graphics and boy do I miss them.

I can set up settings in tombs, archaeological sites, ghost towns, buildings, anything along those lines. I am excellent with detail, as many people know from the Baltazar the Mad RP. I can take an ordinary room and make it into almost anything. I get stumped every now and then, and require the help of someone else.

If you need me for anything. Send me a private message. You can add me to your buddy list on AOL Messenger if you want to talk one on one. Just check my profile for the screen name. You can find me on the computer during the hours of 9:00 a.m. PT, to 9:00 p.m. PT. I am on the computer most of the day. I don't have a job yet, and I graduated this year. So, I am on the computer most of the day. Don't contact me any earlier or later than that time.

I live in Pennsylvania along the East Coast. My time difference from Pacific Time is three hours later than Pacific Time.

OOC: Alcove and Arcadia are in the throne room, which is where everyone else is. I will not change my location. I am almost done with my next scene. Now I have to change where Eferas is because he is a part of my scene. The demons in my scene did not come from a portal. Arcadia summoned them. Just to make that clear.

You didn't ruin it at all, Omlette. You saved me in fact. I couldn't decide what to do with Arcadia and Alcove. You solved my dilemma for me and I am eternally grateful.

IC: After being knocked down, Alcove quickly gets back up and runs over to where Eferas is to help him to his feet. She witnessed all that has happened. Then she pulls out the Tomechlia Crystal and turns to Eferas.

Alcove: "Eferas, this crystal alone cannot close the portal. It can only reduce it to a small size. At that small size, it will be up to you to use your most powerful fire spell to severe the link with the demons and destroy this portal once and for all!!! Eferas looks at her with horror in his eyes.

Eferas: "But Alcove, do you realize that destroying the portal while you have that Power Crystal sticking in it would be deadly to you?!! The explosion would kill you!!! There has to be another way!! I don't want to kill you! I won't kill you!!!" Alcove gets a small fit of rage as she responds to Eferas.

Alcove: "I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU DON'T WANT TO DO!!! There is no time for this nonsense talk!! We all made sacrifices for this moment of glory!! It makes no difference if mine is more costly than anyone else's!! THE PORTAL HAS TO BE STOPPED NOW!!!!!" She looks at Baltazar and then back at Eferas. "Besides, I have a trick up my sleeve. I PLAN on living. Trust me." She gives Eferas a wink. "Now I need to shrink this portal. When it ge...?

She stops abruptly when she hears a tiny yelling voice. She can't figure out where it is coming from. Then she realizes it is coming from the crystal in her hand. She holds it up to her eye level with a puzzled look on her face. The puzzling look soon turns to a mischievous smile. In the crystal, she can see the tiny human figure of Arcadia staring out at her and yelling curses at her.

Alcove: "Well, well, well. What have we here? Hello Arcadia. I am sorry to say that now I have the charm. Three times, you have been defeated. Heh heh heh. THIS TIME YOU WILL STAY DEAD!!!!" Alcove sees Arcadia's face contort into that of the same horror Alcove had been showing earlier.

Then Alcove chants some words that no one else in the room understands except for Kel-Aziz and Baltazar, who both turn around in a startled shock when they hear them. When she finishes chanting a white glass-like light swirls around Alcove and she turns around and looks at Baltazar and Kel-Aziz with an almost evil smile on her face.

Alcove: "That's right Baltazar. You seem to have forgotten that I too studied from that tome. Oh, I'm sorry. Did I neglect to tell you!!!? HAH HAH HAH!!! Now you can't stop me from carrying out my deed of shutting down your portal. I too know about the Arcane Shield. However, I read on further into the texts and studied the very art of it. Turns out it can be compromised to allow others to use it. LIKE SO!!!!!!" As she says those words, she points a finger at Eferas and raves another series of words and a white beam shoots out and hits him.

The white light swirls around Eferas and the same glass-like appearance as around Alcove sets in. All the while that that this is happening, Baltazar is yelling and cursing at Alcove. (They have been edited out for social purposes.) He lets a series of spells fly out at Alcove and Eferas. Eferas tries to run for cover, but Alcove puts up a hand to stop him.

Alcove: "Don't be afraid, Eferas. With these Arcane Shields, he can't hurt us and the portal explosion won?t injure me. Now to destroy the portal!!!" While she was speaking, the shields deflected each of the spells that Baltazar threw. As he continued on throwing spells, he didn't notice the adventurers and remaining rebels closing in on him while his attention was diverted.

Alcove and Eferas run to the portal and Alcoves thrusts the pointed end of the crystal into it. The portal once more begins to bubble, pop, and hiss. Then slowly it begins shrinking again.

OOC: There, I'm done. Next post please. I am satisfied for a while. Sorry about the length. But it was well worth it. Considering this is the end of the RP.

Here are some of my other strange dreams.

11. Before I was a teenager, I was allowed to watch any movie I wanted. Big mistake. I loved them then, and I still do. Horror movies. I watched "Children of the Corn" when I was around 10 years old. It messed my mind up when I went to sleep. Blood, guts, and gore filled my nightmare.

Especially one seen of the movie, which will never leave my mind. One of the possessed children walks into a church while it is in session. The child carries a wooden doll of a member of the church. He takes out a chisel or ice pick or something and starts scraping away at the inside of the doll nose. The man it was fashioned after gets a nosebleed and it doesn't stop.

To make a long story short, (I can just hear everyone going "too late") the nosebleed gets worse and worse until he is crawling around on the ground trailing blood everywhere in front of the pulpit. The scene ends with him dying from loss of blood and the child walking out of the church.

I have rarely ever had a nightmare more severe than the one I got after watching that movie. I haven't seen it again since. (That's the truth)

12. I had a dream where I found a lost town behind some sheds that belonged to my uncle's business and find a living soul or a working light in the town.

13. I have had many dreams where I am falling, and I have hit the bottom already. It causes a person to convulse in their sleep.

14. I have had dreams that seemed extremely real. In those dreams, you can taste food as if you are really eating it, drinks taste real, ground feels real, you can feel wind, rain, and snow, and see and feel electricity. Everything just seems real.

15. Those giant worms by the way are called Graboids. I once dreamed about running from them.

16. I once had a dream where I was swallowed and I couldn't figure out how to get out of the person's stomach.

17. PARENTAL ADVOSORY: Everyone, of course, has had some sort of dream about sex. Despite being gay, I used to have dreams about women. But after the summer of 1999, they all ceased and were replaced by the other. I never understood why. Perhaps it was because I changed my label from Bisexual to Gay around that time.

Anyone here ever have a dream where they in their favorite movie?

I only remember ever waking up in a sweat once. Or waking up crying.

One of the dreams within a dream I had would rival the plot of a horror movie or something, like that. I was dreaming that I was dreaming about being cut up by some psychopath. Then I dreamed that I woke up and it happened for real.

Anyone here ever sleep walk?

Has anyone here ever had a reoccurring dream where they realize it is the same and try to change the outcome to make it different?

OOC: Since the view to the portal is clear, Alcove and Arcadia must be fighting elsewhere in the room.

IC: The battle between Arcadia and Alcove raged on away from the portal. In her struggles to free herself, Alcove had pulled Arcadia completely out of the portal. Arcadia was still trying to strangle Alcove to death, and Alcove was doing her best to do the same. Their struggles brought them directly in front of Baltazar's throne. Alcove manages to get a chokehold on Arcadia and begins to turn the battle around. She summons a fireball while trying to choke Arcadia and administers it to her heck.

Arcadia is thrown against a wall from the paralyzing attack given to her neck. But she seems to be completely undamaged as she quickly gets back up. With a look of uncontrollable rage on her face, she speaks to Alcove in a loud, evil voice that is her own, but has demonic undertones.

"Do you want to know why I came back, Alcove!!? I came back to kill you and take your place!! I fought with you the first time in order to be Baltazar?s right-hand mage. But you defeated me!!!! So I decided to bide my time helping the rebels and build myself in power again while you thought I was dead. I thought my chance had finally come when they decided to storm the castle. I wanted so bad to defeat you that I neglected to find out how powerful you had become. Then you defeated me again!!!!! And managed to kill me this time!!! But by god, YOU WON'T DEFEAT ME AGAIN!!!!! NOT A THIRD TIME."

With that she chants and raves and red light encircles her. "I HAVE BEEN TO HELL AND BACK, ALCOVE!!!! And I made a few friends while I was there. NOW YOU WILL FEEL THE FULL FORCE OF MY WRATH!!!!" The red light turns blood red and begins pulsing with black energy. Alcove tries to reason with her. "Why would you want to join Baltazar!!? ARE YOU INSANE OR SOMETHING!!!!! STOP THIS NONSENSE AT ONCE!!! Help me kill him and give this world peace once and for all!! If not, the third time killing you will be the charm!!!!"

Arcadia's face immediately flashes over with total disgust. She winces at the very word "peace.? Why would I want to kill him!!? I want to join him and help him rule this world!!!! To share his power is my dream!!! AND YOU'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT AWAY!!!!" With that, Arcadia unleashes her newfound dark powers. Red light and dark energy exploded from her hands and strike the ground. Smoke pours out of the energy and fills half of the room.

When it clears, there are several demons, imps, hordlings, and two Haikaas standing directly in front of Alcove. Alcove's face contorts into complete horror. Everyone else in the room stops and their faces too fill with horror. Mancire and Fluffy were standing in a corner of the room trying to avoid any more action that might end up with the destruction of their bodies again. The fight to kill Baltazar has just gotten harder.

OOC: Can someone contact Zephyr and the owner of Fluffy to bring them into the battle perhaps? And what ever happened to Kyrissian? I hope I didn't ruin any of the plot with this addition. Sorry for it being so long.

Sorry, I misread Omlette's post. And I am sorry if I made my point too strong about the power crystal's use. But at least the portal will be destroyed. I said I tried to make it fair for everyone else in the RP, not that I was trying to take it over and change the plot. I was trying to make it interesting. An idea came to me and it seemed like it might work, so I posted it.

As I can see from Nazgul's post, my hunch about my idea making the story more interesting worked out. His touch on the story is excellent. If I had just let the story be the way it was, his terrific addition would never have happened. I congratulate you Nazgul on a very well done post. I never would have come up with that. That was pure genius.

Also, I can't help it that I am a glutton for details in an RP. I can't just say that the opening to the doorway to the throne room was in sight and not have her enter it until several other posts later. I was afraid that my window of opportunity of getting the Power Crystal to the portal would pass me by if I didn't post my second post right away. I was actually hoping someone would post in between them so it would be more legitimate. But no such luck.

Arcadia had a score to settle with Alcove as was made clear with her curse on Alcove and her trying to kill her through the body of the Lich. There are other reasons for my posts. Mancire wanted to be returned to the real world, Fluffy was dead, but the curse on his clan still remained, and Omlette did give a hint about my using the Power Crystal for my own purposes.

Here is the hint, even though he didn't say it directly. It's where I got my assumption.

quote:
Written by Omlette
At that juncture, the imp landed, dropping Delgar in through a window. In the room he landed in, there was a Power Crystal on a table.

Hmmm. Presumably, once Alcove has this, she'll be able to escape from that room...so she told the imp to drop me here. Logical. Now, where is she?

At that point, Alcove bursts into the room and picks up the crystal.
Omlette never mentioned anything else about it. In my opinion, because he didn't state any more, he was simply leaving the Power Crystal's use up to me. But I think we should hear it from Omlette, not me.

Sorry for the long comments.

Dang, you really did a fly-by on me. I am completely lost in this topic.

Thanks for mentioning the paragraph thing Omlette. I was going to comment on that, but now I don't have to.

Do you think you could run your posts through a spell-checker in Microsoft Word before posting them on the boards too?

Can someone summarize everything he was trying to say? I don't speak Klingon. IMAGE(Spiderweb Software Boards Awakening RP the background, charictures, scenes etc etc_files/tongue.gif)IMAGE(Spiderweb Software Boards Awakening RP the background, charictures, scenes etc etc_files/rolleyes.gif) I haven't played any advanced computer games with strange unknown characters in them. Like Bladur's Gate II. I am more used to the Exile games. I never got the hang of any game more advanced than "Goldeneye" on Nintendo 64.

OOC: Here is the other part of my post.

IC: When she gets downstairs, there are several adventurers lifting up the bartender to carry him outside and add him to the pile of dead soldiers. "Wait!!! Don't take him outside!! Lay him on the counter!! Don't stare at me like that!!!!! DO WHAT I SAY!!!!" The adventurers obey and set him down face up on the counter. The bartender hadn't been completely torn apart, but had several fatal injuries.

She walks over to him and lays her hands on him. She begins ranting and raving and a pulsing yellow light suddenly surrounds the bartender. His body begins healing all over and the fatal wounds soon seal up. After a minute or so, no trace of any wound can be found on his body. Then a blue light envelops him and his body starts convulsing. Suddenly he takes a breath of air and it is loud enough that everyone in the room can hear him. Finally, the convulsing stops and the blue light goes away.

She takes her hands off of the bartender as he begins to sit up. Suddenly she feels light-headed and collapses on the floor. Five minutes later, she wakes up on the counter with all the adventurers and the bartender looking down at her. "OW!!! My head hurts! I forgot about the draining effects of the resurrect spell." She sits up and gets down off the counter. She goes and sits down at a table in the middle of the room. The bartender walks up to her. "Thank you for resurrecting me. I have a wife and three kids to look after. Is there anything I can give you in gratitude?"

Celisto thinks for a few seconds and makes up he mind. "Yes, there is one thing you can get me. Can I have a Chicken Cordon de Bleu?" The bartender smiles at her and laughs. "Of course, of course. You are lucky. I am the only person in this area that knows how to make one of those things. And it will be on the house. In fact, you can have as many as you want." Celisto looks at him and smiles. "Thank you for your hospitality. I won't ever forget you." He smiles right back. "Nor will I ever forget you."

He goes behind the counter and begins preparing her meal. As she was sitting in the chair looking around, she notices the light outside beginning to dim somewhat. "Hmmm. Night must be coming,” she thinks to herself and then turns her attention to a book she has is her pocket. She pulls it out and begins reading it. It is titled, "Night of the Living Dead."

OOC: Your turn Zephyr.
