The time difference between South Australia and Queensland is only 30 minutes.

So, if it's 12.15am in Queensland (and I believe you meant am not pm - as it's the middle of the night, not afternoon) it would be 11.45pm in South Australia.

My time zone is GMT + 1, 9 hours later than board time. So it's about 17:15 over here.

It is currently 1:31 p.m. here in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. I live on the East Coast and my time is 3 hours later than that of the Spidweb boards.

About 10.00 am at time of writing.
I live in Finland. Not sure, but I suspect it's something like GMT + 2.

You'd be right, then. Mine is GMT, 8 hours ahead of board time, and yours is 10 hours.
How come so many Finnish people are on these boards? Is there a Finnish version of Spidweb's games or something?
Just out of interest as well: do all you Europeans set your clocks forward every summer and back every winter? Technically it's BST here right now (British Summer Time) which is actually GMT + 1 but Europe is still an hour ahead, yeah?

I'm nine hours ahead of board time, and I have GMT+1. So yes, I'm actually an hour ahead of you due to... what do they call it in English... Daylight Savings Time? What a strange name anyway. IMAGE(Spiderweb Software Boards Time_files/rolleyes.gif)

Actually, Finland is currently GMT+3, but that will change sooner or later (winter time or continental drift, whichever comes first)

*looks out of window and sees happy little snowflakes falling down from the grey October sky*

The first snow is already here! Yay! Soon it will be time for cross-country skiing and bear hunting. And of course the traditional "can-you-hit-the-penquin-with-the-snowball" competiton!

Yay!

And in answer of your second question: There are so many Finns here because Finland is an technology-obsessed country. For example, about 90% of the population owns a mobile phone (don't really know if that's a lot when compared to other countries, but I would think so). And what more, some of the leading gaming magazines here discovered the SW games several years ago. They were quite amazed.
