We know this by now. I believe it has been posted here before, and if not, something similar has. Hail to the Roman Catholic Empire. :P

The list is well over a month old. I have since gathered new data (see "99% of all statistics..."), but haven't had the time to replace it on that site because, as I said, I have to fiddle tediously with it to get it into html format. I guess I'll put that up today or tomorrow.

The inane was on purpose, I believe. Inane means, unless I am mistaken, stupid. In fact, I have had a hilarious experience with a typo in the word "insane" once, where the resulting "inane" actually fit much better than the intended word. :D

Use semicolons and spell "belief" this way, and you're getting closer. This is not intended to be mocking, just helpful advice. :)

Not fully automatic actually. I have to press a button, and copy-paste the list into Excel and do a whole lot of other tedious stuff with it.

I want to know what program Aran used to list all those names.

That would mean there are currently less than ten million people living in the world. This should be a suspiciously low number to anyone.

If you mean the programs I used to process it, Excel and Dreamweaver. The program to gather the stuff has no name; I made it myself. It is also crappy.

Edit: Assuming that account registration doesn't speed up too much over time (an invalid assumption - part of the new accounts are multiple sign-ups, and thus a function of existing accounts), we'd have that fateful last member on the 30th of June in the year 70494.

Not accounting for leap years.

Unfortunately, I guess a game made with this would automatically be freeware (I don't really see how else it could be done), and thus there is no remote chance of making one without violating Jeff's copyright.

I'm slowly learning how to do dialogue and cutscenes, and I expect I'll be picking up speed after the first couple things are done. Unless of course I get the compulsion to add more and more to the storyline, in which case it'll take a few years yet.

Biomass Future-- Will It Replace Oil in General

Except we're using more and more of it, so it's likely the estimate is too long.

But unless you're a grandfather or a chainsmoker, chances are you'll live to see it run out.

Chances are also that the big business folks wrecking it now won't. Life's not fair I suppose.

An internet connection, however, is usually available only from one specific place (unless you're going wireless), and it's hard to run while using a laptop, let alone a desktop PC.

Mh... if you don't particularly like her, why don't you try (subtly of course) to piss her off just enough so she's all huffy and offended and won't want to talk to you for the rest of the visit - but not so much she'll complain to your parents and get you grounded. Some old relatives think it is a horribly cruel punishment if they just ignore you. Enjoy. Perhaps use that time to go online (subtly, again, of course). Voila.

No guarantees for any harm sustained while trying the above advice. ;)

You have listed me twice. I (Arancaytar) am working on Eye of the Storm, and nothing else. I suppose my name changes (Are run, kite are, ratyacnarA) have caused some confusion.

And I dream of it being finished for the June contest of course, but it's unlikely. Too much work ahead right now.

Well... perhaps those firstborn sons didn't want to go to heaven or hell yet?

I wouldn't mind living another couple of years before entering the afterlife, especially if it's the afterlife of some weird new religion I've never heard of (as Judaism was for the Egyptians then).

Do we have any actual advocates of capitalism here? I know there are some conservatives, but I don't think I've seen any economic rightwingers on Spiderweb.

In any political debate, it would do well to remember that the average of the Spiderweb population came in at -4.41 -4.32 on the Political Compass at last count.

Maybe you mean 'inconspicuous'? I know I'm a bit late on posting that, but I'll try to keep up.

On topic a bit more: I'm too young to drink, so I'll stay out of this part of the conversation until it steers to more age appropriate (for me) topics.

I'm old anough to drink, but not old enough to drive. This makes me sad, because I would much rather be able to drive than drink (which I don't do anyway, so it's useless).
