Wow, there seems to be much demand for this list... maybe I should upload it somewhere! :P

For now, list position must be given out according to demand. I'll post everyone's place here, even if you didn't ask for it specifically. Keeps it simple.

Drakefyre: Not that slow actually. #14, +126.

Archmage Alex: Relatively speaking, near the bottom, yes. #46, +35

Wise: Below Imban's, but not way below. #29, +73

Spring: "I swear, I thought I was doing only 70". Sorry sir, you were doing 113. I'm afraid you'll have to hand me that license. #18.

FBM: No more, indeed. Looks like you cut back on the postage... #50, +33

Andrew: #15, +126

ADoS: #35, +50

Stugie: #24, +89

Gizmo: #30, +63

Ben: I'd say it, but everyone else already has. When you were a noob, you were in the top ten. Now you're #17, +119. Draw your conclusions.

Canned: #13, +127

---

Alorael: By the "insult" criterium, I've been a staunch oldbie of Spiderweb since August 2003, when Djur first called me Elfy. :)

I was thinking of discarding the name ørangutan, since I haven't used it since I stopped coming here... maybe...

I'll try and register BoA next, I think... it's been sitting around on my harddrive doing nothing since I completed VoDT. :P I want to play people's scenarios...

I also notice there's a Geneforge 3 out- wow! :D And plans for an Avernum 4? cool :D
I never really got into Geneforge 1 or 2 though so I'm not really sure about 3....

Anyway, I may or may not be around from time to time. I don't use the internet as much as I know a lot of you do. (It's partly why I was around for about a year, in times of yore, without ever reaching 500 posts or something like that. :P )

Welcome back ørangutan. I remember you.

But emoticons are way overrated.

Ratzinger doesn't really look like either, no. He looks more sinister than Senator Palpatine, and a lot more healthy than Emperor Palpatine. But he does have some similarities with both. I figured he would fit somewhere between the two pictures, which is exactly where I posted him.

Well, maybe the big G is flooding their minds with endorphins as a reward for their behavior? :)

I felt the same way back when I was way more Christian than I am now (deist me). I felt the same way when I told my fiancee that I loved her the first time, as well as when I asked her to marry me. In retrospect, I don't think it's the Holy Spirit - unless it's the holy spirit I'm feeling every time I orgasm.

Perhaps it is. examples would be Tantra, and the Kama Sutra. Reaching God through the experience of pleasure.

Well, buddhists describe Nirvana as "a never-ending spiritual orgasm" if I remember correctly...

Well, this one isn't. I've been keeping an eye on the member lists and updating postcounts about weekly (that's automatic, for those who picture me copying down numbers for hours), and now that a month and a half is past, I thought it'd be time for a recount.

Since last count in March 4, we have had an increase of 151 members, which works out to 3.3 accounts per day. Of these 151 accounts, only 87 ever posted.

Apart from these 87, 273 members already registered have posted again at least once, so in the last month, we have had a total of 360 posting members.

The boards have received 7576 posts, which works out to an average of 186 posts per day (that's all boards, not just General), 21 posts per active member, and 0.47 posts per pember per day.

The top ten spam--- ahem, posters are:

1. Thuryl: +480
2. Dolphin: +390
3. Kelandon: +372
4. My humble self: +230
5. VCH: +203
6. TM: +190
7. BSC: +178
8. Holy Toenail: +172
9. Alorael: +171
10. The Creator: +164

Alo appears to be slipping... :P

Except I'm not Catholic.

Still, this is an important news event, so here: BBC News on New Pope

Apparently, Ratzinger walked out of conclave a Pope just as much as when he walked in, in spite of any ancient proverbs on the subject.

He chose the name "Benedict XVI", which would remind some people of the Benedictine Order also known as the "Olivetians". So if you twist it a bit, St. Malachy has been right again with his "Gloria Olivae".

Thoughts?

Edit: Gah. THREE HOURS late and I didn't even notice the other thread. So shoot me.

Good as. What did the bet stakes get to?

I don't know; all that I heard of it was them excitedly whispering to each other about it and then supressing a laugh whenever he did give them the solution.

He caught on at the fifth or so, but he wasn't that angry. I think it was his second or third year teaching.

Well, you can always try... incidentally, I'm stuck getting that skull this time. I heard Kel put it in Bahssikava, but I'm buggered if I know where to find it. I've already talked to every single slith in the game wearing only pants, but nothing happened. Does it have to be the Pants of Obnoxious Ridicule, or will any other do just as fine?
