What folder? Thralni, let's get this right. There is the Blades of Avernum directory that contains three folders: 1)BoA Editor, 2)BoA scenarios, 3)Data.
The second (BoA scenarios) contains subfolders with all scenarios that either came with the game or you downloaded or created yourself. It is this second folder that your pics should go into: you should place them into the subfolder you created for your game.

Thralni, are you trying to play a Mac scenario on a PC? I don't know, but you may have to adapt more than just graphics to make that work.
If you have a PC version and just trouble with your graphics, mail me the whole thing. I've done custom graphs for PC before.

The mirrors:
Place one of them in the southern room and direct the beam to the north. Catch that beam with the other mirror and direct it west, so that it hits the power source.

This is what I was looking for:
quote:
I think I can answer this one. Some graphics programs (AppleWorks/ClarisWorks, for example) can set the PICT's bounding rectangle in a weird way when the graphic is copied out of the application. This can cause this behavior.

To fix it, in your graphics program, shift the icon so it is at the far upper left corner before you copy-paste it into the resource file. (In other words, move it to it's as far up and left as it can go without shifting off the edge.)

There was an occasional problem with Mac graphs. If I remember this right, they had to be placed in their rectangle's upper left corner to look well in the game. Would Kel or Thuryl know?

I know that you are being attacked. That's why I want you to come out of the trap of your passion. It hurts you and triggers emotion in others, who then fling it back to you, and you respond. Cool down.

Zeviz, come on. You were around 21 at the time, and Alec around 14. There's a vast difference between 14 and 17, vaster than between 21 and 24, and you know that. If nothing else, give him the benefit of a doubt. I liked your campaigning, before you remembered your grudges. Why not return to that, you were good at it.

As to your question, that's not for us to know, that's for you to find out. I'd say that you met parts of yourself, and know more of yourself than before. And that is essentially what change is about.

Basically, whoever is elected moderator needs to have a good plan to make these boards an easier, more relaxing, and "safer" environment in which to interact with all members of the Spiderweb community.
Aren't they 'nice and safe' enough by now? All dishes need a bit of spice or they are dull and boring.

I fell in love in the best of her
You already answered your question, Eagle, about how to honour her. The best of her were qualities that attracted and bonded you, as she radiated them. So honouring and loving those qualities wherever you meet them is an ongoing, living memorial to her who made you aware, who showed them to you.

And that would be true even if she had played a game with you. She may not be everything you see in her and love, but she has made you aware of what it is you seek and love.

I hope you'll agree that prevention is better than punishment, thus it is best to prevent verbal attacks from happening in the first place, rather than using the current method of waiting for an attack to happen and then banning the attacker.
;) Zeviz, I adore you. Introducing G.W.Bush's policies into everyone's everyday life, now isn't that a great idea?

I will yet have to learn that manipulation is a shortcut to self-development. So forget about spirituality. The rest is either nutty or downright criminal or both.
