I downloaded Firefox in November, and it still sits, zipped up, showing just under 5 Mb.

I only get a 24k connection speed and it didn't take as long as I predicted. Maybe 90 minutes?

Sorry for the inflated figures; I was estimating based on the size of Mozilla. Of course, since Firefox is a stripped-down version of Mozilla, it makes sense that it'd be smaller.

I am back to IE here at work because Firefox made the hamster go crazy. It just took too much memory to operate, so I had to choose between Firefox and Thunderbird. I hate Outlook even more than IE, so Firefox is gone from here.

I use Safari 2.0 at home, and it seems fine, though I miss the nice RSS button from Firefox. Maybe I'll switch. I'm pretty sure you can open PDFs in the browser with Safari, but I forget how.
