Spidweb has always had spamming. It is simply the fact that the level of moronic posting has risen to an intolerable amount that is the major reason for Spidweb going downhill. Case in point: We now have an RP called Zombies Attack. Somebody, please, pass the Prozac. Quickly. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. It never ceases to amaze me, JF, that you manage to turn a simple "I'm Back" topic into a poorly constructed rant about AOL. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. Anyone with Protest Warrior in their signature deserves to be publicly castrated. However, I'm in a good mood. My guess would be, since the Windows beta should not take anywhere near as long as the Mac beta, it'll be out in six weeks, tops. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. There is a way to connect your record player into your computer and have iTunes (or Windows Media Player) convert it. It's quite unlike creating creations in Geneforge. For one, the player has absolutely no control over the NPC that joins your party. It never gains experience and you don't create it. If I understand this correctly, the designer can even control the spells/skills that said NPC will be able to use. Posts: 2862 | Registered: Tuesday, October 2 2001 07:00 |

The Solberg affair was a very unpleasent affair when Solberg heavily plagurised (spelling?) Alcritas' scenarios. And then denied it profusely. And you are exactly the kind of person, Zephyr, who would have believed him. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. Nothing but wangs and tentacles! It's hard being surrounded by idiocy so much of the damn time. Zephyr, at best you are a gullible fool. At worst you are an obnoxious moron, just spoiling for a fight. The arguments you have presented here are meaningless drivel. The reason, Zephyr, why OM and Iceman try to keep up the pretense of not being the same person by asking to "be your friend" numerous times is exactly because OM and Iceman are the same person. I mean, really, who goes around saying "please, pwetty please, will you be my friend"? Such a unique chat up line, that it's only logical that they're the same person. OM, cut it out. You've been a blight on this community ever since you joined with your spamming, and have been instrumental in Spidweb taking a downward turn for the worst. Trying to impress people by creating different accounts is similarly pathetic. I'm sure you're not an annoying ferret at heart, so stop acting like one. Cut your post count per day in half, increase the relevance of your posts, and people will like you fine. Of course, this could beg the question, could Zephyr be OM, Somebody and Iceman? -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. Nothing but wangs and tentacles! I see your point. However, I do see a bit of conflict that could arise between you and the "veterans", perhaps between TM and Stareye. If you're the only person creating a timeline, then people will treat it as "official" timeline, then everyone will want their own interests safeguarded. The only thing that can arise from that is conflict. Posts: 2862 | Registered: Tuesday, October 2 2001 07:00 |

I'm inclined to agree with General Custer here. There's more then enough room for everyone to create their own alternate history - there's no need for an "official" one. There's going to be an influx of new designers once BoA comes out, all with new ideas. Let's try not to constrain their creativity before BoA even comes out. I got in for GF2 beta testing without previous experience, other then testing the odd BoE scenario. EDIT: Yes, now it makes sense. Kakashi - Japan? An impressive military? I believe that Japan has only a small military for territorial defense and has a very small budget. Racism in the North of England, where I live, is pretty bad. Walk in the door of any toilet, and you'll see a race war etched in grafitti. There are race fights in the streets, and not suprisingly, 12 miles from me is the heartland of the BNP (British National Party, comprised of 95% racist thugs, and 5% racist politicians). -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles.
