Is a Geneforge 2 Windows Beta Test going to happen? It would be cool to be part of something like that...but unfortunatley i seem unable to get in quick enough to get into any beta tests... Ok, this should be in the Geneforge 2 section, maybe, so i will widen the question... what is the best way to get in to a Spiderweb Software Beta Test? I did that ages ago, right after the Mac Beta Testing was announced, and he said it would be put up on the site like the mac one. I don't know whats happened since then, and anyways, I am likely to be asleep when it gets put up on the site (being from Australia), and thus the spots will be jumped on before i get the chance to even see the site... It isn't much of a deal, but yeah. It would be nice... Ugh... I tried to be a beta tester for A3, but there was something about previous experience required. I ask you, how am I supposed to get any experience if I need some just to get some? I got in for GF2 beta testing without previous experience, other then testing the odd BoE scenario. EDIT: Yes, now it makes sense. People interested in beta testing are welcome to try Leylines, which is currently in beta stages. Simply download and try the game and tell me if you find any bugs or don't understand something. Actually there are plans for a mac port. The linux port uses SDL which should easily port to a mac if I compensate for endianness. I'll just have to get my multimedia teacher to approve me getting access to a mac here at Leiden U. I might be able to beta test GF2 for windows! i posted a thing saying i wanted to get it on my B-Day wether it was a Beta or the real thing...
