Also, putting the price too low ultimately damages shareware products. There's so much shareware junk out there going for $5 a piece, that customers are a little more trustworthy of a product going for $25, automatically thinking that that product must be of more worth. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. Since we've had the Australian and American versions of this, how about we have the British political vote? Poll Information This poll contains 1 question(s). 10 user(s) have voted. I believe that the copyright to certain Spiderweb graphics are not actually exclusive to Spidweb. I've definitely seen the Dervish graphic in other games, and I think a few graphics appear in Realmz. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. Well, actually, all classical composors *are* dead. Classical describes an era of music. While you do get neo-classical composers, all those who invented the genre are now long dead. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. I'm gonna speak out against the crowd - I really just can't stand ASCII games. Games have to have a graphic quality of Exile or above for me to be willing to play them - I'm fine with bad graphics as long as they don't detract from the game, in which ASCII graphics clearly do. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. Hating to defend the Matrix trilogy - however, the human body is a very effective energy transferer. If you have a suitable amount of energy in nutrients, then one of the best ways to get that energy would be through our bodies. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. Dear God, please, please, no more damn RPs. The first game I played was called Spellunx, an old HyperCard Point and Click adventure. This was followed shortly by the much better Prince of Persia. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. Nothing but wangs and tentacles! And no pants!" If Kakashi would be so kind as to say what he believes to be bigotry, maybe we could have a discussion about it and not just throw random insults at each other. But, since he's "left" he's set himself up at an unassailable position from which he cannot be attacked, because he seems unwilling to explain to everyone what his problem is. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. Ever since Spiderweb got more members (hence more newbies) it has also got less meaningful content. We already have "tablet" computers. The development of electronic paper is on the way. It is only a matter of time before all the books you could ever possibly want to read (or anyone else would possibly want to read, for that matter) will be able to be stored on one paper-thin computer. Glare is a problem, but this can be overcome. The problems of glare are greatly reduced by reversing colours (having white or green text on a black background). Glare is just a byproduct on today's computers. It's only a matter of time before's it's eliminated. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. There are topics, like this one, which are made by people, like you, every couple of weeks about the same thing. Another favourite is to suggest that Exile be converted to Playstation. It's never, ever, going to happen. Spiderweb does not have the resources, nor the ear of companies who do. It's my opinion that a Palm Top version of Exile/Avernum would be extremely lame, boring and pretty impossible to put into use. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. I don't think that's offensive in any way. It doesn't appear in a sexual way - and people who find it sexually offensive, well, that's there problem for reading too much into it. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles.
