That's cool, David. It is rather an odd song, and doesn't appeal to everyone. It was vastly surpassed in popularity by a whole slew of, in my opinion, inferior songs. But yeah, Eleanor Rigby and Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds are both very good songs. Lucy is on my Top 20 list, I believe. Ah, it's number 15. Have you listened to She Said She Said or In My Life? Those are two fine songs, which were both quite popular as well. It's difficult for me to make other recommendations, as I've enjoyed pretty much everything I've listened to by them. Just try stuff out, little by little. I guarantee you'll find a lot to like. -------------------- "Let a man find himself, in distinction from others, on top of two wheels with a chain- at least in a poor country like Russia- and his vanity begins to swell out like his tires. It depresses me to be associated with Bates, in any small way. And Alec: I don't piss on your bonfire (though I don't like SoaD *that* much, they just came on the playlist). -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. 'Sugar', System of a Down. And Alec, who cares if you hate them. And Bates, you being annoying, like you just were, could make people annoy you by calling you bates. Just a thought. Morgan, don't turn this into another flame war. Despite the fact that it probably would be more interesting, meaningsful and hilarious. Red Hot Chili Peppers. Has anyone mentioned them yet? Awesome band. And for the greater glory of accuracy... 1. Universally speaking 2. Venice Queen 3. Californication 4. Tear (currently playing) Posts: 756 | Registered: Monday, August 4 2003 07:00 |

I am perfectly capable of disagreeing with Alec without it becoming a flame war, Weedy. His post put an end to all possible debate so where would a flame war arise? -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. Nothing but wangs and tentacles! I distinctly remember mentioning Red Hot Chili Peppers earlier in this discussion. Good band. I'm not so fond of all of their stuff, but I appreciate their longevity, so uncommon in rock bands nowadays. I am currently listening to various Celine Dion songs from several of her albums, including The French Album, Let's Talk About Love, and One Heart. I am planning on moving on to Cher next. :P :D  [ Thursday, December 11, 2003 08:19: Message edited by: Sherlock Holmes - MSW ] -------------------- Mrs. Peacock: "Everything all right?"
