Prem: Make that are we the only people who actually buy the music we like. I always buy CDs, even when I have a friend who could copy them for me. Johnny, you wouldn't feel that way if you were in the music industry and were losing money because of people just like you. I'm sorry, I'm just sick of seeing people who are rich and powerfull do whatever they want because of who they are. I doubt the people who made that law abide by it. But howmany people who make anylaw abide by there own law. But I'm not going to talk about that. But SirDavid, just because a person is lossing millions of dollars towards Kazza doesn't justify him making Kazza illegal for his own selfish needs. As a very religious person I thought you would know that. Anyway, back to music. I have tryed to listen to Punk Rock bands, but I can't distinguish one from another. -------------------- Look Ma, I'm banned! I say what is rightfully yours is rightfully yours. If you made the album, it's yours and is not free unless you say it is. Same with SpidWeb games, they are not free for a reason. Because if they were, Jeff would have no money to eat. (That would be a sad picture) IC: Ancient of Days - dc Talk Edit: as for no money to eat, I meant to buy stuff to eat with that money, not eat the money itself. K A Z A A See? Even I know it, even though I never use it or anything like it. And I'm listening to 'Ender' by Finch. Too loud. I'll turn the sound down when it starts hurting my ears, but that usually doesn't happen until after hours of listening ~_*. Yay. I'm safe for now. -------------------- Ah! re. KaZaA: You pay $25 for an album. Of that, the artist sees maybe $1. I really don't feel as guilty about depriving the various overpaid middlemen who encourage the proliferation of garbage that sells well to a mainstream audience as I would about depriving that artist the majority of that money. Quite frankly, the only artists who are fanatic about filesharing are those who are too genuinely stupid to recognize that the record industry is screwing them left right and center, or they're like Metallica and already have swimming pools filled with angel dust and are only fighting filesharing on general cussedness. That's just my two cents. Pink Floyd, 'Dogs'. Finch again. 'Three Simple Words', again. Too loud, too many times a day. I probably should take a break from music, but... It wouldn't be worth the trouble. -------------------- Ah!
