Still listening to Dogs. Great song.

Who was born in a house full of pain
Who was trained not to spit in the fan
Who was told what to do by the man
Who was broken by trained personnel
Who was fitted with collar and chain
Who was given a pat on the back
Who was breaking away from the pack
Who was only a stranger at home
Who was ground down in the end
Who was found dead on the phone
Who was dragged down by the stone

Right now, I am listening to John Lennon's version of "Stand By Me." It is beyond doubt my favorite version of the song.

After this song ends, I will probably listen to a bit more of Lennon, maybe "Watching the Wheels" and "Jealous Guy," and probably "How Do You Sleep" as well. And maybe Simon & Garfunkel's "Scarborough Fair" after that.

The essence of balance is detachment. To embrace a cause, to grow fond or spiteful, is to lose one's balance, after which no action can be trusted. Our burden is not for the dependant of spirit.

ATTN Queen: Your Steeveland Morris disc is in trouble! To prevent it from melting or spontaneously combusting, it is advised that you distance it from all inferior music immediately.

We're all amazed but not amused
By all the things that you said you'd do.
You're much concerned but not involved by
Decisions that are made by you
But we are sick and tired of hearing your song,
Telling us how you are going to change right from wrong,
'Cause if you really want to hear our views,
You haven't done nothin'.

Ken, Justin Timberlake is fantastic! (And I'm an adult, not a 12 year old teeny-bopper)

I know Ruthie, that you're a drug addicted herb seller. That doesn't change the fact that Justing Timberlake's singing is being earrape.

Currently, I am listening to Hindi songs by Manna Dey, a singer from Northeast India who was very popular in India in the 50's, 60's, and 70's. Most probably no one here has ever heard of him, but it would be very interesting if someone has.
