As does Sir David, except without the "what he tried to say" part. Edit: I just realized that "Sir David thanks Arancaytar for saying but with a higher level of coherence and eloquence" doesn't make any sense... but you know what I mean... At least we're off the topic of COMPLAINING WHEEEEE SO FUN about grading systems... ok, so if all of our grading systems suck, then what's a good one? Actually, this should be on the pet peeves topic: - People who complain about everything, but have no sensible way that would actually work to improve on what they are complaining about. I don't think the games would be the same with beefed up graphics, on a PS2. He could make completely new games for PS2, but why would he? I think if he has a completely new idea (completely new ≠ Geneforge) he would use it for a computer game, not console. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. Ironically, neopets are literally invincible. As far as I know, once they are created there is no way to get rid of them. Edit: Which one?? I'm assuming he meant the Club of All... Whoever was talking about Ambrosia's RPG: POG SUCKS. I was so hopeful that it would be a good game, like everything else at Ambrosia, but I gave up that false hope after a few days of playing it. It's really not worth it. Don't waste your money on Pillars of Granderall, buy Diablo II instead. If you're looking for other games besides RPG's, though, http://www.ambrosiasw.com/ is a great site. If you're a mac-user, that is. They only have one or two PC games. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. I said I was too smart to drink at 15, not in general. Although I am diabetic, as well, and beer is full of carbs, so I won't drink much even when I'm at the age when it makes any sense whatsoever to drink... -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. Patrick O'Brian... what are some of his more popular books? I recognize that name, I just don't know where from. Also, Rosemary Sutcliff isn't bad... her books can be a bit dry at times, but they're good historical fiction and really easy reading, if you need a break. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. Then apparently that's not what Alorael was talking about. I really don't see the whole thing with the His Dark Materials series... I read all of them and really don't think they were all that good. I'm not just saying that because God dies, either. They just get a bit sappy and falsely philosophical... a little annoying... and there was something about his writing style that REALLY pissed me off, but I can't remember what it was. The plot was ok but the idea was just a little screwed up. Oh well. That's just my opinion, and I have heard others say the same thing, though apparently we're not the majority or it wouldn't be so popular. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. ...Except that it does happen, in my case anyway. So is Varelse E.U. or not? I've been waiting for E.U. to come back again, he was pretty funny the last two times... EDIT: Wait, the E.U. in the Leylines topic has only four posts, I'm sure E.U. had at least 15 last time he was here. An imposter? New account? Something? Um, 65% is the lowest passing grade. As for the A's and B's, A-D is 100-65, and then everything below is F. I think the 100-65 is distributed between letters differently even within the U.S., so the percentage, not the letter, is what counts. And 96% is good, the only reasons I'm getting better are that dad is a senior editor, my mom is a librarian, and my teacher liked me. But good job, and congratulations. No I don't know much about colleges, I was wondering about Colgate... anyone know anything about it? Like what are its specialties and all... because my guidance councellor suggested that as a possibility for me, and I'm interested because I have literally no other ideas. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. There should be some kind of explanation on the website... www.invisionboard.com... although I think TGM's forums are Invision, you could ask him. Which reminds me, though I am happy that you are concerned for my continued well-being ( ), TGM, please don't spam. EDIT: Hypocracy... oh well... mine was a little useful anyway... No it's not, ADoS, please don't be a fool, you know that 1) The mods don't pay much attention to reported posts and 2) They wouldn't do anything about that post either, because while it was offensive, it was not against the CoC. Plus, if I haven't been banned yet, I don't think they're going to do anything to him for stating his opinion. Custer, please try to keep it down, stay polite, etc. Whether you were right or not is moot; that was a bit offensive and people generally don't like being called fat, obsessive, immature, delusional geeks. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. What about alcohol-free wine? I don't really know much about it, but is that what you were talking about, Alorael? Thank you, Omelette. I'd appreciate if people would stop refering to my "bizarre" religious beliefs, opinions, etc. just because they're different from those of most people here, but very few people have been defending me at all since Ikari left so thanks anyway. As for drinking needles... I think that he meant exactly what he said, because I have never heard that before, like used as an expression or whatever, and yeah it's bizarre. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. Thanks, I'll definitely go get that book. I'm glad my mom is a librarian, since my town has an awesome public library (literally one of the best in the area) and so I can get pretty much any book I want to read very quickly. SMoE, same here... o.O it's weird... I am generally not good at sports, but I'm not too bad at defense (in general) and sometimes I end up surprising people (who expects the geeky kid with glasses to jump up, snag the football, hit the ground and roll so fast no one knows what's happening, and sprint like crazy into the endzone?) but I'm hoping to fix that this summer... I've got some very athletic friends, I'm sure they can help me out... -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. My G2 still works perfectly fine, though I use this G3 a lot more because it's newer and better looking. The people at the Apple store near me are always extremely helpful, I'd suggest going there if you're thinking about it. As for the price... well, it's really too bad they're so expensive, but you just have to sacrifice money for quality, I guess. I've never used e-bay but a friend of mine who never has problems with his computers, which have always been Macs, seems to get a lot of stuff from there... and I suppose with the G5 coming out, you may be able to get an iMac for a good price... -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance.
