SMoE, same here... o.O it's weird... I am generally not good at sports, but I'm not too bad at defense (in general) and sometimes I end up surprising people (who expects the geeky kid with glasses to jump up, snag the football, hit the ground and roll so fast no one knows what's happening, and sprint like crazy into the endzone?) but I'm hoping to fix that this summer... I've got some very athletic friends, I'm sure they can help me out... -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. Note to self: check profiles of all newbies with suspiciously good grammar. How do you know he/she isn't new? The profile's almost completely blank. -------------------- "Man hands down misery to man. It deepens like a coastal shelf. I know who he is, but not how PBR found out. Possibly the sig, since I have no clue what it means... -E- EDIT: Actually, there is a post in the Leylines Teaser thread by someone with the same member number calling themselves E.U., which would imply that this isn't a newbie... -e- [ Friday, June 27, 2003 07:49: Message edited by: Omlette ] -------------------- Let them eat cake! Varelse's login name is either a red herring or it spells out who he/she is. I suspect the latter. —Alorael, who abuses mod powers once again. There is nothing as identifying as the name by which members identify themselves. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

...Except that it does happen, in my case anyway. So is Varelse E.U. or not? I've been waiting for E.U. to come back again, he was pretty funny the last two times... EDIT: Wait, the E.U. in the Leylines topic has only four posts, I'm sure E.U. had at least 15 last time he was here. An imposter? New account? Something? yay for pet peeves. People. People who contradict everything you do just because they are imbeciles but won't accept it. Me. People who want to be my friends just because I'm smarter than them. Imbeciles. Government. Commercials that have almost nothing to do with what they are advertising. America. Dell, for their computers are even worse at doing things than I am. Persons who look at one thing you do and base their judgment on that one thing. People do this to me all the time. That's it, for now. -------------------- Professor Frost gives me ideas. Professor Frost has many an eye. Professor Frost always foils my plans. Sir David: You misunderstand. Varelse is not EU, but changed his name to EU for that one post on that other thread, thus giving away that he isn't a newbie. That is all. -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Polaris Boards: The System is Up. Perennially. Posts: 2314 | Registered: Tuesday, January 15 2002 08:00 |

Another one: When someone or something does this or something like it: 'Welcome! You have one (1) message!' The person reading it can read, tha person obviously doesn't need your help to know the word 'one'. -------------------- Professor Frost gives me ideas. Professor Frost has many an eye. -People who can't mind their own business. -People who think their religion gives them the right to violate the rights of others (they find out quickly that I have no tolerance for baggots). -Willfully ignorant people who try to argue. -People who use circular reasoning and try to pass it off as a proof. -People in general. -People who make ludicrous threats on message boards (not to name anyone in particular). -People who try to tell me that country is better than punk. -Country music. -Rap music. -Violins. -Popular culture. -TV. -Telephones. -Most types of extremists. -Fundamentalists who won't mind their own business. -Jaggots. -Overly emotional people. -My graphics card. -People who keep talking even when you're clearly not listening. -People who let their keyboards get all dirty and sticky and crap. -Same goes for computer mice. -Again, people. -Smudged-up CDs. -Smudged-up GameBoy screens. -Writing with pens. -Many other things... People with brains = oldies, in that case. Varelse, you're such a newbie lover. To comment on something that NaCN said, i find it ironic that a lot of people who like punk dislike rap and vice versa. Early punk and early rap were both virulent expressions of the musicians' distaste for the establishment. However, since then, both have devolved into empty posturing with very few exceptions. -------------------- ... Posts: 647 | Registered: Wednesday, February 19 2003 08:00 |
