there ARE many places and situations where flying is not feasible. plus, it's cool.

1. Flying.

2. All that stuff Neo does in Reloaded. Or maybe the ability to make twits and jaggots into more pleasant people

3. Actually, I'd probably switch between my various internet names every few weeks just to keep people on their toes.

Probably invisibility, but as long as it doesn't switch off without me telling it to. Could be embarrassing, say, if you were walking around town naked or something... (rather stupid example, yes, but it could happen....) Anyway, if an orangutan was flying, his arms would probably be all over the place. The ability to make a coherent conversation, or extract any information so desired, using just one word ("Oook").Ørangutan Master (and it has to have that little stroke over the O. I tried to put it in my name, but UBB wouldn't let me)Oook. ["what are your other internet names, NaCN? Enlighten us!"]

You seem to have some rather strange plans on what to do with your invisibility. :P But it's right, it's a nasty surprise when you try to sneak between all those people soundlessly and suddenly everyone looks at you funnily and asks "What the hell are you doing?" :D Reminds me of that chapter in "The Hobbit" where Bilbo walks into that hall of orcs and suddenly notices he took off the ring. ;)

1. Even though I'm allready invisable through stealth and sublty, I'd take invisablilty.
2. Ability to make mirror Images (like blademaster from War III), only they can do damage.
3. Name: Nobody would know cause they either would be dead or running away.

Finally someone really self-confident. ;) You wouldn't need any super powers, you're already powerful enough. Way to go. :)

I don't think I'd want to rp with you though, it reminds me too much of a certain, ahem, *cough*FB*coughcough* :P

Of course, you all realise this is just a disguised personality test, the 'invisibles' being introverts and 'flyers' extroverts, etc.

Q&A....

1.) I like both. But right now I feel like flying.

2.) A combination of phasing through solid objects, levitation and fading into the background

3.) What would your superhero/villain name be?

X is correct. All these question things are personality tests, more or less, but, unfortunately, there is no foolproof way of judging them. I always thought that people that wanted to be invisible weren't so much introverts, but had secret longings to lead a life of crime.

To be fair, flying wouldn't be a bad asset when it came to a life of crime...

RentBoy, my friend: Secret longings to lead a life of crime? Hm. I link invisibility with cowardice and flying with bold stupidity.

Sir David: First and foremost, I was just being an idiot. As I am ninety-nine point nine percent of the time. It wasn't worth remarking on. Like most of my behaviour.
Second of all, what X said made sense to me. Flying is ostentatious and showy; it draws the eye. Someone who would like to fly wouldn't mind people staring at them (look up there... it's a bird... it's a plane... no, it's RoR!). Whereas one who would choose invisibility over flying would prefer to be able to sink into the shadows and be unnoticeable. I would personally detest flying because I am very paranoid and socially inept; I'm awkward around other people and prefer to be by myself.

Is it mere coincidence that Sir David, often a determined focus of attention on these boards, chose flying as his superpower?

He won't be insulted, then, if I say I associate invisibility with voyeurism, with associated specialist superpowers like the ability to climb drainpipes with one hand or those 1950s advertised x-ray spex-type vision. Would probably be called the Prowler, the Creep, or whatever....

I expect ZT was just insecure, hence his freaking out about the rejection of his compensatorily overpowered personas in RPs too.

Nye, I said "Nye, WTH" to justify my waste of a perfectly good post, but mainly because of the whole trapped in Exile thing. As for flying/invisibility, it's not that I like being the center of attention, but I think the pure joy of having wings would far outweigh the embarrasment of having people staring/pointing/screaming/etc. Also, if this were a reliable personality test, then it proves the Myers-Briggs thing wrong, because I tested Introverted on that and I'm going to believe that test, not this question about superheroes. Another thing that would be really cool is to have webbed hands and feet, along with gills... but that wasn't one of the choices, and I think flying would still be better.
