Personally, I just don't understand what the deal is with the graphics! They add a nice touch to the games and give it a nice, retro-y feel. The current graphics (A4 and GF4) are excellent, wonderful, and pretty in my opinion. Perhaps I just haven't experienced "Hard Core RPG's" but I'm guessing they don't have moral dilemmas, a deep and involved story, or any of the other things that make me love games created by Spiderweb Software. I think the easiest incarnation of the saving system is the N:R one, where they automatically direct themselves to an auto-made folder. Very easy and fast.
