I don't bother with Dexterity on spellcasters. They shouldn't be getting attacked anyway.

I do like giving some archery skill to priests. It complements their spellcasting abilities very nicely.

Speak of the... demon. This sounds like the puny scenario that I'm constantly revising and will never be released.

It also sounds a lot like Khoth's BoE scenario, which is called, appropriately enough, Demon. (No monster plagues, though.)

GYLFAGINNING

1. kafli

Can I just take a moment to point out what a crying shame it is that the Romancing SaGa series didn't get translated? They really are completely unlike any other RPGs ever made for the SNES. Unfortunately, only RS3 has a fan translation available, and the translation kinda sucks.

Why overthrow the government when it's so much easier to just avoid getting caught? A government's moral rights, in your view, only extend as far as its ability to enforce its authority. All available evidence suggests that there are plenty of people for whom crime does pay -- and as long as you're getting away with it, does it matter exactly how you're doing so?

The point I am making is that your ethical system has no basis on which to condemn murder except by baldly asserting that it's bad.

I think we can all agree that senseless killing is bad.
To the people who engage in it, it's neither senseless nor bad. Murderers are displaying their willingness to do anything to accomplish their goals, no matter who else it hurts. Aren't these exactly the sort of people you admire?

In fact, anyone who refrains from murder simply because it's illegal is letting the government impose its will on them, which, in your view, must place them among the weak.

Oh, I see. So it's okay for people to impose their will on each other, except by methods which are actually effective?

I hate repeating myself.

Your position is inconsistent. What moral justification do you have for protecting those who can't protect themselves?

Is this possible? in Blades of Avernum Editor
...b10010b...

Yes, it's possible to change PC graphics. The only way to do it is to modify the graphics files themselves, replacing a PC graphic you don't want to use with a new one. On a Mac, the file you want is "Blades of Avernum Graphics" in the Blades of Avernum Files folder. You'll have to ask someone else to help you if you're using Windows.

Note that SW will not host any scenario that requires the player to modify the default graphics files.

Encumbrance only affects what you can wear -- there's no weight limit in Exile 1 or 2.

(In Exile 3, items do have weight and you can only carry a limited amount of weight, but it still doesn't affect your encumbrance.)
