It's a long story, but the short version is that as things stand, I can't use Classic mode without extreme inconvenience. quote:It's been quite a while since I had any honour in this community. If you're using OS X 10.4.8, this is a known problem and there's not much you can do. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

quote:I don't think this is the case. I played through most of one area with a dead PC and he was almost a full level behind another PC with an identical experience penalty by the time I got back to town, but he gradually caught up as I continued with the game. So I'm pretty sure experience is calculated separately for each character. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

I name PCs after characters from RPs I've been in; these names are usually made up based on nothing in particular and occasionally made up based on something in particular. NPCs get named after random people and organisations whose names sound cool; the protagonist in Roots was named after a physicist, and the antagonist was named after a real estate agency.
