Go in in combat mode -- you seriously don't want the Demon Golem to get a free round on you. Try to kill newly-activated golems in the round in which they appear, and focus any other attacks you have that round on the Demon Golem. Once it's dead, you won't have to deal with any more golems. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

It's probably best not to start a series with your first scenario. Two of BoE's best designers have done this and regretted it. EDIT: TM, a counterexample to your claim: Isle of Boredom ends on a cliffhanger. Falling Stars sort of does as well, come to think of it. And Tomorrow. Don't know the SDF to reset offhand (although you can find it by looking in the script files), but you can still win the scenario, assuming you already got past Vahkohs's barrier. Flee town, kill Vahkohs and leave. Kill Maynard as well if you like (or just kill Maynard without killing Vahkohs; this is technically a winning ending, if not a great one). Obviously, you can't get Maynard's reward for killing Vahkohs at this point, but you can still win. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! It's not against the rules per se, but it's generally considered pointless and annoying to revive a thread that's more than about a week old. People will start whining at you if you revive 2 or 3 old threads at once, and you may be warned for spam if you revive half a page of them, but that's about it. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! I was raised in a family where alcohol was really no big deal; Rosy's probably in the same situation. I've had a glass of wine with meals on special occasions for as long as I can remember, but I've only been seriously drunk 2 or 3 times in my life (all of them before I was 18, but I didn't buy the alcohol myself so I didn't do anything illegal). Even though all the times I've been drunk were relatively pleasant, they haven't given me any great desire to drink to excess on a regular basis. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun!
