Can I get a consensus of which way people went, i.e. siding with the Empire or attacking the outpost...? I know what I want to do gaming wise, but I feel sorry for the Serfs.... I know this should get some interesting replies!!! "To be or not to be, is it really a question?" -------------------- Eagle1 Posts: 46 | Registered: Friday, September 10 2004 07:00 |

I played three times. First I sided with the Empire. Then I sided with the Hill Runners. The last time I played, I killed off both sides. The last time was my favorite :P -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. Join the Dark side. We have cookies. How could you happen to kill both sides? That's what I'd like to try, because I really don't like Volpe, Jaen or Stalker. Posts: 21 | Registered: Monday, December 2 2002 08:00 |

Side with the Empire. Then, at the very end, kill Jaen when he shows up to reward you. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Alternatively, side with the Hill Runners and kill Jaen and his men, then eradicate Stalker and the rebel leaders before leaving. -------------------- Stughalf "Delusion arises from anger. Does that give you a different ending than killing just one of them? That'd be interesting if so... Plotwise, it'd certainly help the serfs more if both groups were "decommssioned". I wonder if Brosterman would show up to reward you... -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. I really, really, really, really hate undead. With a passion. It doesn't exactly give you a different ending, but it adds a little extra text. Note that it's been reported that siding with Stalker and then killing him may cause a slight bug, as Jaen shows up to reward you afterwards (even though you killed him). -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! This is the same with DOTD, I first slayed the vampire then killed the Empire-Mayor-man (After chasing him through the tower and hunting down the guards then making a daring escape through the rebel hideout). The ending text was different to the other two endings. -------------------- Milla-Displacer Beastie This is also a good site Posts: 650 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

quote:Alternatively, side with the Hill Runners and kill Jaen and his men, then eradicate Stalker and the rebel leaders before leaving. Yeah! That way is a good way! As I've already said earlier, so it's just repeating: the ending seems, to me, like an illustration of "The song remains the same"... Maybe I'm mad! weird. How do you use the "quote" tool? Copy the text you want to quote, push the below button "quote" and paste the text between "quote" and "/quote" (in brackets). Or click on the " "-icon on top of the post you want to quote to get the whole text quoted. -------------------- Slartucker: * facepalm facepalm facepalm * Dikiyoba: Are you unconscious yet? Sided with jean killed Stalker then killed Jean. It says you haven't changed anything but both men where geniusus at their profession so anyone who replaces them surely can't be as ruthless or succesfull. Also Volpe is dead so life for the locals will no doubt get better. Posts: 190 | Registered: Wednesday, July 3 2002 07:00 |
