As usual, I win. Or lose, depending on how you see it. Either way, I'm special. ^_^

(One post closer to winning/losing next month too.)

The Make Potions skill is assumed to gather ingredients automatically; the ingredients themselves aren't actually items. You need to be outdoors and not have a full inventory of potions already, though.

I haven't experienced the problem you describe, though; I figure it's either a corrupted download or a problem with your copy of BoA. Assuming that you're using the latest version of BoA (v1.1.2), try redownloading the scenario. (You need the latest version of BoA because the Make Potions script involves string manipulation calls, which 1.0.0 doesn't support.)

If I recall correctly, you have to go to one of the other priests for your reward. It's worth getting.

That was posted by TM. And I'm pretty sure that's the only hint I can give you within the bounds of the CoC.

Well, if you look at depictions of halos in traditional art, they don't really tend to be solid objects hovering above your head; the head just sort of glows. I suppose it'd be useful for lighting up dark places.

Movement, from what I've gathered, is an unholy hybrid of Geneforge and Exile/Avernum. You click on a location and it automatically finds a path and moves you there along the path, but there's no walking animation to go with it, and movement is turn-based instead of real-time.

The "Save" command will just save over either the last save file you loaded or the last save file you saved with "Save As". If you save your game without ever having used Save As before, it should prompt you for a location to save to.

This is how it worked in BoE. You may be right about it working differently in BoA, although I wasn't aware of it.

In this case the dots above the i are being used as a diaeresis. They indicate that the vowel is intended to be pronounced separately from the vowel next to it. They're occasionally used in English words such as coöperation for the same reason (it's pronounced co-op-er-a-tion, after all, not coop-er-a-tion!).

Easy. Make the entire cave out of blackness to start with, and only place the walls and rooms after you've danced the party through all the blackness. That way, the whole map is "seen", but it's "seen" as blackness.

(It isn't necessary to put the party on every space in town, though -- just make the initial blackness non-opaque, and dump the party on every 4th space or so. That'll still result in the whole town being mapped -- or rather, unmapped -- or better still, demapped.)

Crashing bugs probably belong in Tech Support, but this is an okay place for it too. Unfortunately, I can't actually help you with your problem, as I haven't experienced anything similar. Try running it in compatibility mode and all of those other fancy things people tell people to do when they're using XP.
