is there an item list yet? in Geneforge 2

It's probably a nameserver issue on your end. Not everyone can access that particular site, depending on whether their ISP is feeling cooperative on that particular day. If someone who can access it would copy-paste the item list into a post and post it here, that'd be just peachy keen.

Like Geneforge 2? in Geneforge Series

In my opinion and that of many others at these forums, the plot isn't as complex as that of either Geneforge 1 or 2. There are only two sides you can join, and you're forced to pick one or the other. Gameplay-wise, it's a lot like Geneforge 2, but bigger. If you liked Geneforge 2's gameplay and aren't tired of it yet, you'll probably enjoy Geneforge 3. If you play mainly for the plot, well, at least Geneforge 3 continues the ongoing storyline.

If you're already cheating, why not use an editor to give yourself the deuced wand in the first place? :P

I predict that the 64000-command limit is almost certainly going to be a problem if you try anything too fancy. You might have to make each level of the cave fairly small.

Once you've got the doll, it isn't necessary to tell anyone about it; just find the she-demon and you'll be able to complete the scenario.

Litalia attacking you at the end if you're a rebel seems to be a bug triggered by a particular dialogue option. It doesn't matter, though; nobody really cares if you kill her.

Have you double-checked to make sure you're using the right items, and not other items that look similar? Do other recipes work properly?

Just a word of warning: whatever you do, do NOT use the Death Charm until you've found the priestess behind a secret passage outdoors and had the charm blessed. There's a bug in the scenario which makes it unwinnable if you use the charm too early.

Yes, I imagine it would be painful if my hands were to suddenly fly away.

As for Melbourne being the most "exiting" place on earth, I wouldn't go so far as to say that, but there are certainly a lot of people living there who want to leave.

With what money? Where are you going to find cash that would have been legal tender back in 1917? Obviously, your bank account details aren't going to be travelling back in time with you, after all.

I suppose you could buy gold bullion or something today and take it into the past, or even get a job and earn some money whilst in the past, but there still remains the issue of proving that the stock you bought in 1917 and have not touched since is actually yours without letting anyone on to the fact that you've travelled in time. Seems to me that it'd be easier to buy something tangible that you can take back into the present with you, and that you know is going to be much more valuable now than then.

There's one lying around near the steel doors; you should have got a message about seeing something shiny when you walked near them. Wander around for a bit just to the west of the doors and you'll find it.

The other one you can get after sanctifying the altar in Ancient Bahssikava (not the drake altar; the one in the library). Have you found the friendly ghost yet?

GF3 has two basic successful endings (loyalist and rebel), with minor variations on each (based on canister usage and so on). It's also possible to get a bad ending if you screw up (killing major NPCs on your own side can do this to you, especially as a loyalist).

By the way, others have made the point that if you judge the rebels purely by their actions rather than their words, they don't seem to be nearly as pro-freedom as they claim to be.

See, lots of us agree with the general sentiment, but think that Exile's graphics were leaps and bounds above Avernum's in that respect. When graphics can't be meaningfully distinguished from stick figures, there's something wrong.

Well, it's not clear what you mean by the numbers, but I'll try to help. One of the power sources doesn't have a corresponding puzzle room; instead, has to be activated by placing mirrors in the corridors so that they redirect one of the beams to hit the power source.

Failing that, get a proper FTP client.

Have your mage summon a bunch of monsters to distract him (Create Illusions works well for this), then run past him. Try to keep at least one of your characters within sight of him at all times so that he doesn't teleport toward you again.

Without giving too much away, your goal is to find what's controlling your leader and stop it. Watch out: there's at least one more nasty surprise in store for you.
