The phrase "that's an argument of taste, not censorship" would seem to imply pretty specifically that he disapproves of it but doesn't want it banned. :P -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

I spilled concentrated sulfuric acid on my hand once, although I managed to wash it off before any serious harm was done. That's more in the nature of an occupational hazard than a recreational activity, though. Still, it made for a pretty pattern when I spilled blue dye on that hand the same day; the area that I'd previously spilled acid on showed up in a different shade of blue and took several days longer to wash off than the rest of my hand. I became a little more conscientious about wearing gloves after that. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

The reason for that is that Divine Warrior gives the Divine Aid status effect, which doubles your AP. But as I said, this belongs in the other topic. *points in the direction of my previous post* -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Perhaps we could keep this discussion to this topic where it belongs? (Although, TM, I'm not entirely sure how a mage would get Quick Strike in the first place, considering the prerequisites. :P ) -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! On the other hand, Fast on Feet gives only 1 extra AP while Quick Strike gives 2. Furthermore, Fast on Feet uses up a trait slot, while Quick Strike just takes a bunch of skill points to meet the prerequisites. The AP bonuses are also cumulative, so you can always go for both. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

I suppose you could try disabling your antivirus software before downloading. Or if all else fails, download it on another computer, burn it onto a CD-R, and transfer it to yours. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Uh, ben, what are you talking about? He already HAS the registered version -- he downloaded the registered version off SW's passworded secure-download site for registered users. He's only waiting for the disk so that he can use the fancy manual and stuff. And you DO still need to page through the list of scenarios to see more than the first few scenarios on BoE as well as BoA. Also, resmc157, are you sure that you're clicking "Custom Scenario" and not "Start Scenario"? Some antivirus programs are paranoid. If you downloaded it off SW, it's perfectly safe to install. Regarding your second problem, are you sure you actually deleted it? Try saving the download under a different name. [ Sunday, November 06, 2005 14:32: Message edited by: Explode Thuryl Now ] -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! ... ow. You can *try* importing towns out of the corrupted scenario so that it's not a complete loss, but be warned that it may not work and may just lead to your new scenario file being corrupted too. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Well, if you have Repel Spirit at level 3, that helps, since it can hurt demons. Beyond that, just use the usual strategies for any major fight: haste and bless as soon as possible, cast Divine Warrior on your fighters if you have it, and beat things up as quickly and efficiently as possible. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Hmm. Looking at the scripts, I can't actually figure out how it decides whether an object is stackable. Still, the following is worth a try. Open up gf3itemschars.txt. Find the lines that say: Change the 263 to 260. Tell me if this works. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Yeah. CS, this isn't the first time you've given fake hints.
