Actually, they're a lot more than that. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Jeff said somewhere that A1-A3 are ground-up rewrites of E1-E3.

In G1, I once destroyed the Geneforge, and then Trajkov killed himself using it immediately afterwards. Here's the topic I posted a while back which more or less explains how I did it. (warning: spoilers)

I've never heard of it either. My guess is that it's a key similar to "Caps Lock" or "Num Lock."

Oh.

I've never tried either one as a singleton (and probably never will), so I'll take your word for it.

That may be true, but my playing style makes it rather tough, as I prefer first to train everyone in my party as both priests and mages.

Edit: Web-shooting spiders were never a problem for me, though.

I have XP Home, and have no problems with F10. Since you said F10 is used to call up a spellchecker, you may want to close out all programs that use it before running SubTerra.

As for the minimizing problem, the only workaround I've found is not minimizing.

I agree, especially if you're referring to E1. That one can be really tough, even with a full party.

I've never played A2 as a singleton. A1, yes. But no others. Maybe I should try it.

I've never come across an item-collecting scenario for BoE. I seriously doubt one exists.

BainIhrno - Having made my own personal HLPM, I know how frustrating such things can be. Do you still have that utility scenario?

Additionally, I'm preparing to submit some more levels on the other SubTerra board.

(shakes his head in disgust at the recent nitpicking over Alorael's writing style) Could we get back on topic, please?

I think I know why the buildings in Exile/Avernum would need roofs; it's similar to why surface buildings have them. There are animals (birds on the surface, and bats in caves) which can fly, so you'd need a roof over your head, simply because when they fly over your house, they don't leave evidence of it on your carpet.

Disgusting, I know, but it's as good a reason as any to have a roof.

Not to my knowledge, no. As far as I know, they only exist in the Geneforge series. Cryptozoology must've accidentally posted here instead of on one of the GF boards.

Interesting theory, to say the least. It may be a possibility with these creatures (maybe one brain per eye?), and that each brain would work independently. That way, when the Eyebeast/Gazer talks to you, it might be just one of these brains (the main one, for lack of a better term) speaking on behalf of all of them.

Gazers/Eyebeasts apparently have a sense of 'collectivity' (I may be mistaken on this).
Every Eyebeast I've met refers to itself in the plural, and considered each of its eyes to be individuals. The same is true for the Gazers I've come across.

I haven't played G2/G3 all the way through yet, so I don't really know what their social structure would be like.

I've always taken for granted that all buildings (except some that are, for example, in a state of disrepair) had roofs. The word "building" almost implies the word "roof."

Well, Stew Boy, if nothing else, you'd definitely win in the "most submitted levels" category. :D But all kidding aside, you do make good levels.

I, on the other hand, just make levels for the sake of doing so, not to win anything.

Now I get the warning, after it's too late.

When I first came in, I left my marbles at the coat check. But when I went back to use them for a moment, I discovered there was a hole in the bag, and they'd all fallen out. So if you see any marbles lying around, let me know, they're probably mine.

Beats me, I don't order anything by computer. I don't trust the internet, no matter how secure anyone says it is.

Every time I buy a game, I get it on CD, and send the order via regular mail. It normally takes about 7-10 days, but it's worth the wait.

Point taken, and hence my signature too. Had you met some of the people I know, you'd understand.

Being hellbent on a task can also be construed as insanity. That's why I say he's off his rocker and halfway across the room, even though he's fully aware and in control of his actions.
