Jesus Bok! Now I too totally lost it. The Huntrs seem to be dead, but not quite. I'd like to know NOW who these soldiers at fort emergence are. I always assumed they were some Dominion/Hunters group or something, but now I'm not sure anymore. And I agree with TM in almost anything he said, by the way. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Gernas had waited for some time at the rock, observing what happened. he had also got an irritated message from mernal, saying roles were switched. He, gernas, was now to go to Pralgrad. And so he did. After sitting for some time behind the rock, he sneaked from behind the rock, and made his way to the Goblin army. Luckily they weren't all spread over the narrow landbridge, or things would have gotten difficult. They weren't on the eastern side, so he naturrally went through that way, and with succes. he was halfway when he heard some goblins approaching: "I have thought to had heard something here, Gobrava!" However, they left quite soon, when they discovered that there were nu mushrooms that one could stick in his nose. Sergras' body relaxed, and he sneaked on, past the fires, past the goblins, past Hralek. He eventually got passed the goblin camp, but it was still a long travel along the bridge. He expected to see goblins scattered over the bridge too, as remnants of the army. He had to stay low, and look out, for he could be seen easily in this treeless, empty place. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. this seems promising. I'm looking forward to the wave of new scenarios to play, although I'm quite caught up in Flight Simulator at the moment. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. quote:Don't want to offend you in any way, but why is it you always repeat what is already said? EDIT: Dikiyoba, you play the bassoon? Is it a difficult instrument to play? I'm very fond of the bassoon, and in my compositions, like the first symphony I'm composing at the moment, I always give the bassoon nice parts to play. Solo's too, of course. EDIT 2: now that I think of it, I have the large part of my symphony in wav format (which can be converted to mp3 to make it smaller, don't worry Aran ;) ), so if enough people would like to hear it, I can put it up on a seperate page on my website. quote:1) You don't have to choose if youdon't want too. if you would like to run XP, just press option and wait untill you can choose, otherwise it will boot OS X automatically. 2)VPC is a good alternative, of course (certainly when you got it for free, like me), but its just not enough when running Flight Simulator 2004 (I think they even disabled the option to play games, but I'm not sure). The option one has at that point, is your very slow PC, or your Intel mac Mini with dual core processor. What would you pick? 3) I doubt that XP on a Mac is hacked. they share the same processor, so why would Xp not be able to run on an Intel Mac? heck, maybe a PC would even be able to run OS X, actually... -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. quote:Yay! I'm a fanatic of Flight Simulaotr, and I play it now more than ever. I'll get an Intel Mac mini in about two monthes, so this will mean I can dump my PC and happily convert everything back to the Mac again! *smiles* My original plan was to dump half of the PC and run Virtual PC for the smaller programs that require Windows. For a summary: So this is still a beta, and the final version is to be released with Leopard. This means that you have Windows and Mac on your computer, enabling you to play the games that my heap of rust of a PC can nearly handle. And again Apple gets a direct hit. Hooray. You just can't have it all, Nikki, can you. I'd like to congratulate you now, Tyran, but I'm out of congratulations. If you can wait a week, I'll congratulate you when I get some of the congratulations that I used today to congratulate people back, okay? EDIT: just noticed I'm nearing 2000 posts. I hate the digit "2". I play the trombone now for seven years. bassoon and recorder are certainly woodwind instruments, and a harp is a "plucked instruments" as they call it in my notation program. By the way, playing the trombone means you can almost automatically play Tuba and trumpet, though you'de have to learn the key signature first. I don't know how the trumpet's key signature works, but I do understand the bass (F) signature and the tenor and alt signatures. I would like to play horn, but I doubt that will be happening in the near future. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. "Hi. If you are hearing this, I may not be at home. that is, I may be at homr, but the phone has left me, and therefor I can't reach it. On the other hand, I may be at home AND away. Its for you to decide where I am, but... Oh crap. You wanted to leave a message no? I forgot the beep. It was probably to be heard when I was away. That is to say, now. I think. Oh what the hell. I'd like to know in what stage the scenario's are that are being made. A months or three ago was the last one of this sort of topic, and several people posted in that topic telling about their scenario, and in what stage of completion it is. Now I'm asking that question again, hoping to see people had the time to do any work and progress with their scenario. I'll start: Though you can read it all on my website, I'm currently alpha testing. A very rough estimation is that I'm about halfway, but given the fact that I can't bring up the motivation nor the time to do anything about, nothing will happen until early may. Then I have vacation. A week's vacation. I hope to round it all up in that week, and finnaly make a beta-call. (Luckily this is actually about the second time I test things, so in my cases I can run along without encountering problems) -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. I really sahould check these things in-game before posting. I must have forgotten about them only being for the bounty. If you don't mind, Moternij will keep them enyhow. they are still nice pointy things with which you can stab people. that is with a little sharpening of the horn. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Things had gotten grimmer for Fralsrik. While on his way, he had seen some troops. He quickly hid, but a lone Nephil on the road hadn't. The troops had approached the Nephil and talked to him. he could only hear bits and pieces of their conversation, but what he heard worried him: "Halt... are you?" "Krilni" "..at... do..ing...ere? "Trav..ling" "Go...no...elcome. ..eave now... ease..." The nephil had turned away and walked back. This meant that the Dominion wasn't as friednly to outsiders as mernal had thought. he would inform Mernal about that, but not now. first he had to get to the isles to the south. He began walking slowly, while ducking, hoping nobody would see him. His loak, being green, was the perfect outfit to were in this grass-filled world, where everything was still green. The mages probably kept the place a live somehow, though he didn't know if that was true. Maybe they weren't that powerful, but only the rumors said them to be? He didn't want to find out. He wanted to go south, in which he succeeded. After a walk of being ducked constantly, he had gotten some back pains and salty water in his face. ugh. Filthy water. I hope I find a ship soon, so I don't have to stay ducked al the time. he stared at the horizon. Now boat anywhere, though he thought to see a small dot at some island. he hoped it to be a boat heading for his direction. (OOC: Milla, I really hope you can make up a boat that "by coincidence" comes to Fralsrik and takes him with them back to your nephil warrior. I'll let you control Fralsrik in that IC) --- On the other, west side of Krizsan, moternij was sitting at the passage. he looked again out of the passage. this time more carefully. he hoped mernal would find a way of dealing with this, the sooner the better. ------------ OOC: These soldiers are Goldenking's no? If the Hunters are now a non-existan faction, where do these soldiers are now? i think I'm very confused now. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. *Cough* *Ahem* *splutter cough* *dying sound* DAMMIT GOLDENKING! I know you probably already got the picture, but other than you're overpowered armies and such, let me point out the following thing: quote:No! God dammit! I already said, before you posted, that Porters retreat is a ruin! READ other people's post FIRST before making your own! Infernal: Sorry, I'm not going to change that. If he was away longer than 20 years, he might as well been dead. nephilim don't live that long. Ephesos: They are said that they have magical abilities, not that they really have them, Also, the unicorns may be gone, but bones don't fade away just like that, and a horn after all is a sort of bone (but others will have to say if that is true). I think the horns can still lie there, while the unicorns are already gone. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. In that post I asumed that what you said about the creation of your undead (You have been making them for a veeeery looooong time, is what I understood of it), and given the fact that Moternij (I should really change that name, actually) was a recent refugee of Avernum, he should know about it. if you didn't start the ealy with making the undead, then please explain where I got that idea then. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape.
