This doesn't really count, but my scenario which is currently in beta, is quite large. It has some connections to Avernum, but not quite big ones.

Thanks for sending Dintiradan a copy, and being so fast in testing. Will that be a complete report, or just a part of a bigger one, still to come? I suppose its the latter.

If all can be so quick, we can have things to discuss already quite soon. Very good, and keep going.

"'s and .'s in General

I know how this is donme in Dutch:

She said: "He walks down the walkway."

However, I have no clue of how one puts the .'s and "'s in English. Can anybody tell me how to do it? is it (from the above example): ." or ". .

There are discussion about this in Holland. The mayor papers have no adopted the style that I used in the above example, but the other variant is also still used. Do you guys have any particular opinion on this strange linguistic phenomenon?

I originally said: "That almost gave me heard attack". An "a" misses between the "me" and "heard(t)".

What do you think is worse: Boiling lead in your throat, or aqua regia in your throat? Just curious.

Yes, that's about what I did in my scenario too. Only I made a cash machine with fixed values, so the player can't choose himself what to put in. he'll always have to choose of three options. I know, its a bit middle-ages, but I'm just a beginner, am I.

Do you mean just pre-Islamic Mesopotamia (again, contemporary with the Romans)? Do you mean pre-foreign-conquest Mesopotamia, so maybe pre-Persian, which would be 500 B.C. and before? Do you mean the Sumerians and Akkadians and such?
Lets make it even more confusing:

do you mean third, second, or first millenium? and is there a specific folk you mean, or just from that point in time, no matter what folk?

That's odd. I didn't use Winzip, but an alternate program, Stuffit expander, which cn also make zip files. I have often seen though, that changing the file extension works to correct the mistake. however, I'll try to zip it on my PC and send it to you again. i hope it will work then.

Tyran: yes I tried that. I tried that adress five times, and then i gave up.

Ah, okay. I didn't know he was also IP banned.

Again, I'm sorry for the pollution. I'll place some water treatment plants to take care of it, okay?

It tok Mernal some time to understand the red star. It just didn't seem logical. how can a red star just appear, and then, after some time, disappear just like that? Mernal had consulted his magi, his priests, his spies, his highest ranking warriors, and even his archers. Nothing. Nobody knew what it could be.

Eventually, drowned in confusion and anger, anger of not knowing what this sign was (it could be a sign of the Nephil god!), the army broke down the camp and started moving again.

They had travelled for a day when they finaly reached Pralgrad. Now that they had past the mountains, Travelling would be quicker and easier, and so it was. After an other day they had reached the Jsoulza mountains. The lake at which gernas was supposed to be was big, and quite beautiful. Mernal looked closely, and scanned the other side of the lake to see if there was a sign of life. there was. Nephilim!

I sent out the Mac version of the scenario. expect the Windows version later today or tomorrow.

I sent out the Windows version of the scenario. Those graphics better work, or else...

Tyranicus: the email adress you gave me didn't work. can you give me perhaps an other email adress?

The rest of you: I hope you enjoy it, and I apologize for any stupid spelling mistakes. I have a feeling I didn't manage to iron them all out.

ITS VERY IMPORTANT YOU READ THE README! I also said this in the scenario itself, upon starting, but I thought I'd say it here too.

Have fun, and I'll get an email from you, or I will see you on the BoA TC forum.

Thanks
