Still though, the designing (how little it may be) is nice, I think. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Guys? Every line in that scenario is taken from lyrics by Radiohead, like "Black Star" for example. It's a very good song, by the way. On this happy day, I wish to celebrate my postcount of 3000! I shall get a new title and thereby get into a higher ranking on these boards, aha ha ha! So yes, this is silly, but what ze hell. The number 3000 suffers from "not-interesting-and-crappy-pictures-disease". -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Zeviz: Ah, good. I think I'll be able to sleep a lot better now. The problem, though, is that I don't seem to care too much about times when slavery was normal and all that: I care more about how things are now. Saying stuff was a lot worse then, seems somehow a bit stupid to me. Don't take this personally, please, but if the world is worse than it was in past times, it would be all the more depressing than it is now, no? In other words, let me be depressed for no reason, okay? Sometimes I want that. I need it sometimes to get crap out of my system. You can see it as a business cycle, ya know. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. To be honest, I don't see a lot to be happy about (except that I got some good marks froma teacher that I swear used to hate me and I have a nice solo in the next concert I'll be giving with my orchestra). Just look at this world: it's getting more polluted all the time, people bomb eah other because of religion, the financial world seems to be panicking because of what happened in America, more and more youngsters have sleeping problems and get adicted to drugs/alcohol (heh, Holland is the worst of Europe in that respect). Really, there isn't much in this world we can be happy about, and to be honest, I personally get the urge to hit strangers that start smiling at me on the street. i want to be left alone usually, think about stuff. Maybe I seem unhappy, and so do all those people, but they mich just be thinking about stuff. My father sometimes looks quite angry when he is thinking about stuff, while in fact he isn't angry at all, so... My advice: just don't care to much about what all these starngers' mood is. It'll only make you unhappy. [/vent] -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Life of a designer is a lonely one... I was very surprised to see it. I mean, the announcement that two new scenarios are uploaded are quite minor compared to the fact that Never Winter Nights 2 and Quake Wars: Enemy Territory came out recently. I suppose they indeed got the newsletter of SW and just added it, but still. Though nice, it feels weird. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Co-designed with Nikki: El Presidente. We (or at least I) have been waiting for it for probably ten years, but it's there: Return to Dark Castle, the third installment in the dark castle series. I'm quite excited about it: it's nostalgia in millions of colors. I downloaded the demo to see what it's like, and it's nice. It's basically dark castle 1, 2 and a new game all in one, remade with better graphics. amazingly, though, it hasn't lost it charm. *looks at the 'nja-nja-nja-nja-nja' dwarf like creatures and is content, while he throws rocks at vultures* Return to Dark castle -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Look at that! I didn't know IMG was in the habbit of putting up Spiderweb news. Apparently they added the SW news of the newly added scenarios "Tales of the tabbard inn" and "Adrift". I should read the second half of Episode 4. The parts I did read where nice enough, and I want to know how it ends, so there you go. And I second Aran's idea: it'd be nice to make a map of the positions of the mentioned forums, unless it means that in your busy times making that will result in no episode 5. God, I hope there will be a huge bowl of spaghetti in this episode... Oh yeah, I remember a particulair landing in Flight Simulator 2004. I had taken off in a Boeing 737 at Tegel, Berlin, in extremely bad weather. I wanted to land again, because I couldn't see anything in the fog and rain, so i contacted ATC and they directed me toward the runway, but I couldn't see the damn strip. So after some maneuvering I finalle saw the it: I was about 200 meters from it's start and flying in a wrong direction: I was flying far too much to the right of it. So I quickly turned right, and the quickly left, and managed to put the aircraft safely on the ground. I think it was my best landing ever, since usually I crash because the plane sort of drops on the runway, breaking the gear, after which the plane explodes... -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. At 1 you were weird. At 1000 you were even weirder, and now, at 2000, you have lost me. I must ask this now, or I shall forget: is your real name "Filbert"? Congrats on the 2000. I hope you get that position of yours. What is it you do when in that position? I don't hate them and I have no reason to hate them. I'm only saying that the most important reason for text speak to exist, is because people are generally too lazy to start typing the words full-out. It isn't really something that stays with texting, mind you. The same spelling is used in IM and the like. I used to sue it a lot, until I came to recognize that I was in the process of forgetting the Dutch spelling. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. In Holland we also call it a "SMS", and we pronounce it just like that: S-M-S. I hardly use it, but I find it usefull, since I won't disturb people when they're too busy to start answering a phone call. Also, if their phone is switched off, I can be sure they get the SMS and send one back once they read it. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. There was this rather interesting glith in Falcon 4.0. When you landed, also when you landed safely, gear out, flaps out, all the stuff needed to make it safe, you exploded. Something with the game not knowing your gear was out... Luckily, it was fixed eventually, but it was frustrating to keep crashing on landing and not knowing why. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape.
