Oh wow. This scenario must be good, since I didn't understand the plot at all. A bit short, but that seems to be the trend these days. Posts: 353 | Registered: Monday, January 9 2006 08:00 |

It's better than RLY and Foul Hordes. Ephesos: It is a legitimate scenario, though I'm using the term 'legitimate' very loosely. It is certainly more legitimate than RLY. And I can vouch that the words "Never gonna give you up" do not appear anywhere in it. -------------------- The Noble and Ancient Order of Polaris - We're Not Yet Dead. Guys? Every line in that scenario is taken from lyrics by Radiohead, like "Black Star" for example. It's a very good song, by the way. Diprosopus: I have it on excellent authority that if you press "Wait" a total of 81 times, the actual scenario will start. And it is glorious. Posts: 8752 | Registered: Wednesday, May 14 2003 07:00 |

Paying homage to Faust, I played this again. I waited 90 times. Nothing. [ Wednesday, April 02, 2008 00:03: Message edited by: Leeroy Jenkins ] -------------------- Nikki's Nook - forget about your house of cards, and I'll deal mine. Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

Still though, the designing (how little it may be) is nice, I think. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Thank you Thralni. This isn't an April fools joke, it is a real scenario. I guess if anything, the joke is that people thought it was a joke. I feel I should explain why I released it. I have played many Blades of Exile and Avernum scenarios, and in a lot of them you spend a lot of time doing nothing, under the guise of a mission. So, for example, you are told to go to point a, collect item b and take it to point c. As a player all you are doing is clicking on the keyboard a lot, and it isn't demanding any attention. Also, there are no scenarios where you literally do nothing, and are told that you have no role to play in the scenario. So I made "Phew for a minute" (which is a line from a song ^^) which forces you to do nothing, apart from waiting. If I had to give it a genre, I would call it "visual poetry", but that is only because I read a really good book on the subject a few days before I wrote it. It's not meant to do anything apart from make people pause and think, and I promise for my next scenario which I am making, it willl be much more interactive ;) Posts: 2 | Registered: Tuesday, April 1 2008 07:00 |

Perhaps here's the fault - it's just a little too oblique for the average SWer? -------------------- Nikki's Nook - forget about your house of cards, and I'll deal mine. Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

Yes. As a matter of fact, I'll go so far as to say that you're still qualified even if you haven't heard of the scenario before. -------------------- "NOW PASS ME MY BOOTS.
