Judging from your karma, I would suggest that your reputation is above reproach and wouldn't suffer in the least. It certainly does serve to liven up the board, especially since it is kept at a muted level. But I've overheard that mindless chit-chat like this is square in the cross hairs of a certain someone, so perhaps it is best to leave it lie for a bit.

What got to me was the comment you made to Stug, and by extension Wise Man. I am too old and cynical, obviously, as I don't suspect people of being as nice as you seem to be. So, from this day forward I resolve to expose to you my musings prior to showing them to the general public.

I still think it was a good story, in as much as it was totally unbelievable and ludi(cris) to boot.

**** **** News Flash **** ****

Dolphin has been spotted frolicing around various male members of the forum body. This reporter suspects that she has been mesmerizing them with her nuanced charm in an effort to reel in more votes in the upcoming elections.

The world will have to wait and see if this new tactic pays off, or if it will backfire.

I have had this problem as well, both with a scenario I am working on and some downloaded scenarios. What usually works is to just try again, and for some reason it won't repeat. It is very difficult to diagnose a non-repeatable error, so if yours is repeating, then I would start by looking at everything else you have running at the same time. Try eliminating things until you are left with either nothing, which means it is within BoA or your scenario, or you have found some other application which is conflicting with BoA. Either way, keep us posted.

Welcome to the halls of injustice. As a newbie (like me) you are in the favorable position of sharp increases in post counts. For instance, if you were to reply to this or any other message in this thread, you would DOUBLE your current total. Amazing. Imagine the thrill.

Just be sure to make every post count, or you will be labeled spammer and have mangoes thrown at you.

Yes, but it is far easier to tell people to complain to someone that won't see my message. If I had pointed at you, then you may have pointed right back and blamed me for a sudden increase in mail. I prefer to remain out of the direct line of fyre, as it were.

I actually hadn't heard the guns thing. But now I know...

The place I lived at in C-town was pretty run-down, but at $200 a month I didn't care. The funny bit was the old guy across the street that just sat on his porch all day. Many people came up to visit or "get advice" from him, and I eventually figured out he was some Irish don. So when I found a .32 caliber pistol in my place I just gave it to him. He accepted it and made it disappear. In retrospect, I should have kept the thing, but at the time I was 100% sure it had been used in some crime or another.

Edit - Somehow I posted before finishing the post. Some talent...

and banquet rather than blanket, but the image you gave was just as good. it gave the impression of a much more casual affair, while banquet calls to my mind the starch and black tie events.

my most memorable event? deciding to blow off the calculus final and go to the beach instead. man did i get in trouble for that one.

no memorable events for you saunders?

I'm tending toward a negative reaction, but that is prior to actually visiting the site. I do feel confident that my reaction will not change substantially, so I won't bother visiting the site.

Although, being kicked out of the US is a fairly good recommendation...

While it may be convenient to categorize people, either positively or negatively, it also serves to dehumanize them. ADoS is himself, and no one else is like him. And I forgive him for living in Reveah, as he probably didn't make that choice.
So I understood Thuryl's comment to mean that there is a societal rush to place people in categories which, while making things nice and tidy, doesn't actually serve to make that individuals life any better. I could go on and on about how inappropriate it is to pigeon-hole people and treat them according to only one part of their whole being, but I won't, cuz I don't even know myself well enough to do that.

I think it was excessive to use the word excessive. Short and sweet, no smilies. Just the minimum words necessary to convey the point. Hopefully a single word. Or letter. Perhaps just an emboldened exclamation mark. Yes.

For the RECORD.

This all began because of some darn flash movies that just had to be shared with the community.

The Lesson? No one cares about flash movies.

Edit : It appears I have been making a mockery of this election. I have already partitioned out my votes according to the favors thusfar received, so I will stifle my laughter and cease further posts. I leave the offending post to offend, as I'm not entirely sure if the Aran's quote would get all screwy. Yeah. Rock the Vote!

I think we're supposed to register additional UBB accounts for voting purposes.

Ya know, usually this is handled at the district office, and the precinct chair just hands me extra ballots to use. This system seems somewhat cumbersome and slighty crooked to me.

What is so fantastic about talent? I've been gifted with a typical human shape, outfitted in the regular fashion, no extra accessories, limited display of common sense, and no discernable talent.
I wish I could join the fly crowd, but I know my limits.
I could join Alo in the sniping, but my targeting system is still off. Practice, practice, bullseye.
I'll just be content, like many folks, to remain essentially nonessential.

Spoiling the kids fun.

Hmm.

Sound good to me. I figger that "Nicole" is 54, really named Nick, is in a halfway house for pedophilic haemophiliacs, lives in Helsinki, and has already trace routed Eagles IP and is walking up to his door right now.

i liked this so much better when we were all guessing that he was referring to dolphin, who is silently relieved that Eagle had the common sense to make up this Nick the Brick fellow.

I take it you are not at all concerned that you also knew the URL? And you kept it a secret from us? What kind of candidate keeps these kinds of secrets? I think we need to have full disclosure around here, starting with the name of this girlfriend in california.
See, the thing is I haven't noticed wizcowski around here recently, and I guess I'm worried that eagle has stolen her from Kel. Not really, but it certainly is less creepy than any other explanation.
