Couldn't you just swap the terrain with an identical looking terrain that isn't searchable?? Edit - And would have a different default script?? (Stupid Tab key...) As I hail from Boston I think I can answer that question. We don't want a bunch of whiskey-drunks running around the streets of major American cities on November 30th. The Irish keep it nice and quiet with their Guiness-drunk. Any more nationality stereotyping will cause the CoC to whimper. Yeah, an edit. Nothing major though. 2000 wasn't really all that good of a year. A lot of confusion over millenial changes, disappointment surrounding Princes' prediction, and that whole computer meltdown scenario. Now 2001, there would be a heck of a return on the old image.google.com thingie. :) -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Fascinating stuff here. So, there is a chat today, starting 22 minutes ago. It has been fascinating so far and I encourage more participation. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

I must applaud you for only allowing eleven minutes to elapse before making the necessary corrections. It is all good. Edit - Yes, it has been edited. I dunno about Ben being a bot, although it certainly would explain a thing or two. Now that I think about it, there are quite a few bots on board. This might be a testing area. I better keep an eye out for the new models. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Your message and signature seem to cancel out each other. But, for the record, please don't make a habit of pretending that your views represent anything other than your own views. They aren't shared by some, a few, or many. They are just yours. Thanks. Edit -Ephesos bumped into my message spot. What I wrote was not intended to follow his message. Oh my! It looks like someone left the special cabinet unlocked again. I would fear for your sanity, but it's obviously long gone. Edit - [ Thursday, March 16, 2006 10:10: Message edited by: Andrea's Salmon ] -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Without Aran to post the reality, or to deny the rumor, it looks like the absurd number will have to stand. As Slarty said, this has been one of the most amusing months on the messageboard. I don't think that this can be separated from the posting rate and the excitement generated by a posting contest. We've had two bannings, a caning, 2 temporary bannings, a fan-fanfic, and several cartoons. What on earth is wrong with what happened? Edit- I've decided that nothing was wrong with what happened. Irrational exuberance is still exuberance, and it was damned nice to see it for a while. Especially during the stressful times of the bannings and cannings. But whatever, no harm, no foul. As a point of order, who exactly are the captives of the turtle pits? The denizens are fuzzy turtles, they are fed unused sanity, and that's it. Where do captives enter into this picture? Oh, and I saw the rankings before Aran killed them. He had 812 posts last month. Now, why again did the rankings get pulled? -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Actually, I think Eddie has come pretty close to completely relinquishing his sanity. He may not even be aware that there is an Arctic or that subterfuge is useless. Anyway it sure is fun to watch. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |
