"Wise" Man, why did you go ballistic against Mister David when in the other topic your whole post was this:

"i ain't celebrating an american holiday, i'm Canadian."

Take your foolish grudges elsewhere please. If you hate Sir David so much, then leave Spiderweb instead of making it worse.

You think I'm grinning with joy when people wish me a merry Christmas? I don't believe for an instant that Jesus was the son of god, but instead of getting offended that people aren't considering my beliefs, I'm just as happy that they consider me at all.

David is merely trying to lighten the mood on an occasion that is happy for him.

Wisen up, or take your wisdom elsewhere.

EDIT: Since it is a happytopic, the fireworks were pretty good, although I'm not sure if they were worth watching between terrible traffic, oppressive humidity, and ravenous bugs. I'm afraid that I'll wake up tomorrow morning with swollen feet. Oh well! IMAGE(Happy Fourth of July!_files/wink.gif)

Wait a sec! I ju st noticed David and Namothil posted at the same time, and that's why it got messed up. So please use Namothil's move (the one before this one). If that ever happens again, use the last post that occurs and ignore all the previous ones.

Yes, Omlette's Kitchen was doomed from the start... and Saundy, you're always welcome to join the conspiracy's planning crew! Just drop me a PM and I'll give you the specifications of the applications and forms that must upon completion be sent and then resent to me for editing and revision in order for my reiteration for your comprehension and thus we'll have a cohesive and concise application on which you shall not be judged since I've already invited you to join the planning commition otherwise known as the planning group, and known as the specification regulation comittee only on July 4th, 9th, and Septempber 8th, but only at 6:00pm EST on September 8th, that date being the date of my birthday were my birthday to fall seventeen (17) days and four (4) hours before it actually does fall, actuality meaning much the same as reality, but some people have no concept of reality, whilst most do have at least a general understanding of actuality, since actuality is that which can be proven by first hand experience in some cases, and in other cases second (2nd) and third hand experience, which isn't quite as good, but good enough I believe for this application process which I've invited you to take part in in order for you to take part in the regulatory systematic law forming commision, which happens to be a name I just came up with and will have to submit to the board of the conspiracy, which includes myself and only myself, so it will most likely pass unless I'm in a bad mood, my mood being dependent somewhat on my weather, but mostly on my AP exam scores and my SAT II scores, half of which I know, the known part being the SAT II scores, of which I got an unfortunately low score of 690 on the Writing test, so my mood plummeted, but then seeing a 760 on the Chemistry test and an 800 on the Math IIC ceratainly improved my mood, but I'm still not sure if it was enough improvement for the justification of the ratification of the metomorphosation of the randomization of the conspiracy deputy chief's hair style.

"Omlette has eaten 168 brains. Yours was a bit hard to get out, but worth it."

Omlette, if you continue those antics, I really will have to eject you from Project B.

Alorael, it was a fool-proof plan. Or a plan-proof fool. Either way, it would have worked to our advantage. But it's ruined now, so there's no point worrying about it now.

And, on another note, are you going to join Project B, ef? Or is it a bit too surreptitious for your style?

Well, I, for one, suggested the other option. Of course, NaCN is always being his stubborn self, and with Conspirator Number 2 also against the decision just out of spite, there's no way I would have been able to pass that resolution.

Although, now the I think of it, the googly eyes might have worked...

NaCN, if you give so much away I shall flummox you worse than Alorael has ever managed!

On the other hand... I guess we could leak the alien bit in order to get some outside help.

Speaking of which, thanks for coming back Milla. The largest topic up for conspiracy (wink wink) was getting a bit tangled up and complex. Of course, now that people have begun "coming up with new ideas," it's much easier to add my own to the "pool."

But of course, nobody's s'posed to know who's in the conspiracy and who isn't. Speaking of which, I'm not in said conspiracy. Neither is the weather balloon, which popped yesterday due to Logo's disagreeable nature. Even worse was when the balloon spread turpentine and anti-freeze over 200 acres of beatiful forest, and by 200 I mean 11, and by acres I mean posts, and by beautiful I mean dumb, and by forest I mean potential space for good conspiritoring, and by conspiritoring I mean conspiring.

All your base.

Alorael, I'll flummox you if you didn't mark the conspiracy. I have my ways of finding out, too. Especially since I am Alorael.

-Alorotrax, who thinks that the combination of truncation and concatenation between the names Motrax and Alorael looks, and sounds, just plain ugly.

How very ambiguous. Thank you Alorael. You've really cleared up what music you like. Now I can go to sleep with the knowledge that your musical tastes are secure.

Or does he...?

No. He doesn't. Omlette's right on the money.

-Motrax, who would like to note that the conspiracy involves turpentine and anti-freeze.

Or Omlette's frying pan, which is equally deadly. I've found out through rather painful means.

EDIT: Speaking of which, a new weather balloon-related conspiracy has begun. It also has to do with bad food. Check it out! (www.theconspiracy.com/polaris) ;)

Add rap an punk to my list of pet peeves. Same with country, R&B, Soul, Soft Rock, Nature, Light Jazz, Modern Impressionist (for the most part), Heavy Metal, Ska, Techno, and Death Metal.

I enjoy 60's and 70's rock (Beatles, Zeppelin), Classical (ranging from Baroque to the end of the Romantic), and jazz before the 50's. But mainly classical.

I don't think JF had much to do with the Conspiracy. Although his posting style back whenever he started certainly was.

And now I'll stop, and we shall all stop, because the Conspiracy is secret, and revealing too much of it's non-existence would be bad.

"Beefing up graphics" isn't so easy. You have to buy powerful equipment, hire a team of graphic designers, etc. Final Fantasy 10 took about 4 years to make, I believe, and that's with a group of more than fifty people. Even for graphics of half the quality (which would still be very good), Jeff would probably need to hire at least five people if he didn't want to work on a single game for fifteen years.

How was the vampire-hemopheliac ending? I was trying to think of something that would work in many situations, and it turned out OK in this case.

And Omlette, if I could post in red here, I most certainly would. I'll leave you to guess what in red I would be posting.

Yes, the grading system in America is quite the worst, but I'm too tired to complain about that.

Congratulations Row-Z.

And, speaking of colleges, does anybody have an opinion of Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, or MIT?

Enforced "goodness" -- a good thing? in Blades of Avernum

It really doesn't matter who's good and who's bad. I generally wouldn't want to play as a stricktly evil party, and I think the majority would want to generally do good. However, it's easy to set up situations and plot twists so that doing "the right thing" sometimes ends up doing more harm than good.

The greatest asset to this strategy is talking to people - the party will generally trust somebody as long as they have no reason to distrust them. That jolly old mage who spoke of a drake that stole his staff could very well be the drake in a temporary human form, trying to lure you into his lair where he can see how people from your region taste.

You could also plant false quests as diversions, although that seems to me like it would require more SDF's than I'd care to dream of. Of course, with the scripting system, who knows...

Haha. That reminds me of my seventh grade fizzed teacher. Short and fat. She drove a car to the track that was next door to our school (my Middle and High schools are neighbors, and the track is at the high scool). She certainly gave us a warm greeting when we finished the 2 minutes walk!
