Although lifedrain sounds nice, if the mages are getting beat up, they will probably die quicker than they can heal themselves. And if they won't die immediately, it probably means they are safe enough that they don't need the life. Mindduel, I think, was one of the most underused spells in E3. I love the concept of it, although it never seemed to find itself in a situation where it could be used. Stealth is definitely a skill I used countless times. The Great Walls come to mind, and other situations found me using it as well. -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

These ideas are niec and all, but whats the point of talking about them? It's BoA, we can create any monsters we want, whether or not the game comes with them. I'm all for rabid dolphins. -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

Blunt weapons could break. It's on the same line as durability in Diablo. It's nice and realistic, but mostly its just a pain and a waste of gold. -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

I do like "wound" class spells - they were very useful in most situations. I would like to see poison come back. It's instrumental with low-level parties that run across an encounter just a bit too hard. Poison is what makes the "brave retreat" strategy actually win battles. -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

[Opposite] This kitten really isn't that cute, so stop making dumb comments about it. It's a silly doll. [/Opposite] -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

Probably just a portent of doomsday that we can't understand. Seriously, though, it's probably nothing to worry about. Just some random error that will go away in time, time being now. -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

Yes, I guess starting the first BoA (to my knowledge) graphics archive would count as being a rising member. And you did contribute quite a lot to BoE... Welcome to modship, TM! (Sorry Jenkins, if you begin to contribute a lot, and be an active member in the BoA community, you'll get my recommendation from me also. So far, I think TM is the only really active member of the BoA community, besides Jeff) -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

I only have ten minutes on weekdays because I post in the morning at school before classes begin. I usually only have 10 minutes, unless I get up in the morning feeling fresh and awake... So I always have 10 minutes. ;) EDIT: A rather blatant typo... It's a good idea. It's not that I'm lazy, it's that have on average about 10 minutes to do everything I can on the boards. So smaller, in this case, and more concise, is better. -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |
