The first time around I kept all the loot I found, and at the end of the game I had two huge piles and very little money. I figured I should keep all armor/wep/ring.. that offer a different form of protection, but in the end I never used most of it. Unless you plan on switching rings to utilize the different stat bonuses sell them. Posts: 2032 | Registered: Wednesday, January 26 2005 08:00 |

I took every bar of iron I could find to Dowdy. I gave all of the bars to one character, and when he was getting close to being encumbered I used the pylons to teleport back and forth. For the most part the extra cash was more that worth the couple minutes it took to make the deliveries, IMO. Posts: 2032 | Registered: Wednesday, January 26 2005 08:00 |

Not sure about PC, but on a Mac the trilogy and BoA lets you play full screen or windowed. A4 is the only one that doesn't. Posts: 2032 | Registered: Wednesday, January 26 2005 08:00 |

I don’t think that would do you much good in the abyss, as well as with the shop keepers that would rather not make a trip to the castle to get paid. [ Tuesday, May 02, 2006 18:38: Message edited by: Dolphin. ] Posts: 2032 | Registered: Wednesday, January 26 2005 08:00 |

I can lick my own tongue, as long as it's ok to use the roof of my mouth. If you can move your tongue against itself it's pretty much licking. I can roll my tongue back, and reach it up into the cavity so it rests above the soft palate too. I don’t like doing it though because it's a little uncomfortable, and I don’t' want to hurt myself doing odd Gumby things. Posts: 2032 | Registered: Wednesday, January 26 2005 08:00 |

This is so nice to hear :) More in-depth plot, new creations and spells, and five character classes sounds great. Having the PC's actions rather than dialog options determine their allegiance is a nice improvement too. I also really like the idea of the creatures being grouped rather than randomly spread out, as I like battles to be based on strategy more than strength alone. I would recommend Nethergate, and second to that Geneforge 1. BoA would be good as well, and A2 is very good if you don’t mind the replay. Posts: 2032 | Registered: Wednesday, January 26 2005 08:00 |

Though being original is difficult after 11 pages I'll add my two cents anyway. quote:If this is what A5 ends up being I'm happy for the most part. The exploration of new places would reintroduce the sense of discovering the unknown that was lacking in A5. A more in-depth plot giving it more of an A2 feel would be nice as well. As far as the main conflict goes I'd be happy with almost anything aside from Vahnatai. The boats were a very nice aspect of the early Avernums, as was the teleportation system in A4. Though I greatly prefer Avernum's engine I wouldn't mind A4's nearly as much if the graphics were distinctly different from those of Geneforge. quote:^_________^ Posts: 2032 | Registered: Wednesday, January 26 2005 08:00 |
