I'm curious how you "slip around it somehow".

I'm damned sure that you can't leave the fort in-town, since the whole town is lined by a can't enter node, superposed on blocked-to-creatures spaces.

Outdoors, I'm fairly sure that all exits are separated from one another, unless these custom walls have a nuance I'm not familiar with.

It's an amalgam of "feminine" and "emnity".

I have no idea what you're saying. If there's an error, could you please state it in more comprehensible terms? Thanks.

One possible idea- you could have creatures drop a few "general" types of corpses. Humanoid, Beast, Slime, etc., and whatever else you'd be interested in. Then, make undead types like "Skeleton", "Beast Skeleton", "Undead Slime", etc. (Maybe you can have 'really powerful' varieties for more devious enemies.) Have the call apply to a rectangle (see the Codex for that), and create creatures on those spaces.

And hey- you could have it so that it becomes worthwhile for the party to pick up those totally-unwieldy corpses, since they can revive 'em in future battles!

Heck, you could even have a mission where you need an attractive date to get into the ball, and one of the town prositutes wouldn't look so bad as a dressed-up zombie...

...

Right. Well, take the idea as you will.

I think it goes without saying that I think that (behind myself) Alec was the best moderatorial choice.

That said, I'm infinitely glad that I won't have to leave because of a Kel or Zeviz moderator, and I think Stug would do finely.

YES. What part of "separation of church and state" do you somehow fail to understand?

It's less of a direct thing, though. More of a "celebration of one's caucasian-ness". (Which is, admittedly, why I expected Kel to glorify it.)

I'm not sure I'd call Ole Abe "good". Okay, maybe.
As for a good politician- having read something not written by Friedman, Adam Smith, et al is a good start.

There's always a better way to back up any moral belief in ways other than citing a bible. Unless, of course, "sending a nation on a one-way course to the bosom of the Christian Taliban and not being afraid to admit it in an obnoxious and offensive manner" is a moral.

(HINT: It isn't.)

But what gets me is the fact that supporters of that sort of nonsense think that thee protesters are being militant- but why not? The fundamentalists are only promoting a state religion... I wonder how much of jingoistic circle-jerking will be just enough?

EDIT: Wait a second... Scorpius, is that you?

Good lord- you're packing down the same nonsensical "life sucks, get a helmet" ideology that even JV can go through the motions of, and somehow expect me to read it as your not following your oft-repeated trend of homogenization?

WELCOME TO FAGOTVILLE

POPULATION: YUO

EDIT: Admittedly, it was an error of judgment on my part- you're not a Bible-thumping stereophile, but that doesn't mean that you limo-libs have since forgotten that the 60s are well and over.

Nahh, I'd rather let the humor play on for a little longer. So far:

* Thuryl > Creator AND Shyguy
* Kel > Tarl AND Measle
* Khoth > Yoshiyuki AND Gonzales

There are others I think are total BS, but I'm close to being banned as-is, and Drakey's a militant ki-- administrator.

...I'm tempted to listen to the petite bourgeoisie glorify their standardized examinations, but...

I did a moderate amount of AP classes. They're normal classes for me, but that's probably because I didn't do the work.

Just out of mild curiosity, which prominent BoX designers would you assign the "sensei" honorific in conversation?
(For reference, the designers are those who made any 8.0+ scenario for BoE or BoA. If you don't recognize the name, you probably shouldn't choose 'em.)

Actually, I only did that because everyone was changing their monikers so they'd have 'MM' as an acronym. :P

"I think we could make a movie, or at least a documentary, out of the last section of this thread. Maybe it could have Avernum races in it. The capitalists could be Slith."

And, what, have the Imperials be the pre-Industrial Revolution bourgeoisie? No, for that, I think the Avernites should be the mercantile bourgeoisie. Then, the nephilim and Sliths could be exploited for cheap labor. (Heck, you could have a scandal where the Prince of Exile is unusually furry, and the queen has doubts about his lineage.) The Church could be the demons, who speak of "liberating the other races", but are only concerned with paltry sacrifices and building more ornate buildings while the primitives rape and beat their women whilst getting sick from easily-curable diseases. And then, some of the nephilim head towards the surface looking for jobs that pay 1 gold coin per year instead of 1 gold coin per two years, and the Empire begins erecting fences, and an entirely superfluous group of "leftists" begin protesting... Meanwhile, the Vahnatai cause a "Grey Scare", causing the Empire to construct giant phallic weapons to make up for their leaders' underperformance in bed...

Yeah, it'd be a decent film. But JV would probably just have it be the story of a bunch of adventurers who serve ultimately as a backstory to some inspiring monument in the Kriszan Projects, reminding the Nephilim serfs that "they too can make it with hard work".

The fact that you have "datz" as a synonym for "that's" in your signature leads me to believe that you don't have any respect for literature, regardless from whence you get it.
