I believe I was slightly impaired when I voted. At least that would explain some of my choices.

*this message notes that Stug, Aran, and Thuryl could all throw votes to Alex*

I see that NaCN didn't give me all his 24 votes -_-

Since Stughalf is the only other non-white candidate, I hereby transfer all my 36 votes to him.

My thanks to the SW electorate, and to my fellow candidates. I would have liked to see Alec in the top three, but I respect the wishes of those that have transferred votes to me and will accept all of the votes I have received. As things are (barring fluctuations in the next few days) it appears that the contest will take place between myself, Aran and Thuryl. They are more than worthy competition, and I look forward eagerly to the next phase of the elections.

Same, and receiving 8 votes is even better.

Stug — Good luck. Although I am not supporting you in the election (sorry) I wish you the best of luck.

Yeah

How come you got more votes than I did?

Oh well, at least you went for a decent person. SHIFT YOUR VOTES TO THURYL!!!

Stughalf: I congratulate you on your successes, and respectfully urge that we join forces.

I believe we are equally capable, and our policies of government would be the same, and it would be a travesty for the two of us to split the hearts of those who love us.

While the post-electoral wrangling has put you on the top of the heap, we are neck in neck in terms of out-the-gate popularity. While I would obviously prefer to be the running candidate here, I am amenable to other arrangements, and my greatest desire is to see a community run by moderators that respect it and want it to grow.

Do you actually mean all of that? Or did you just make it up on the spot to try to make people shift their votes to you?

What people? There's not enough votes left for any such shift to be meaningful. I just want to build a bridge here.

274 Stughalf
238 Thuryl
238 Arancaytar
187 Alec
45 Zeviz
10 Sarachim
7 Imban 4444
6 Riibu
3 Archmage Alex

As it stands right now. The only people who can affect the final standings now are the top three and Zeviz (in combination with someone else).

Someone (Zeviz), vote for Thuryl. I would have gone for Kel, but Thuryl'll have to do.

I think it goes without saying that I think that (behind myself) Alec was the best moderatorial choice.

That said, I'm infinitely glad that I won't have to leave because of a Kel or Zeviz moderator, and I think Stug would do finely.

Juicy Lucy will win the election. You know it to be true. You should vote for Juicy Lucy, so you can honestly tell people that you helped put the best moderator the Spiderweb Software forums have ever seen in office.

But... I dislike him intensely. Can't we have Aran on the throne instead?

I think Thuryl will win, but Aran and Stugie would also be very good mods.

I thank you sincerely for this gesture, Alec. It's a damn shame that we had to end up competitors for the last spot, but like you I am determined not to let the heat of competition hurt my relationships with my friends here.

We are probably the two most similar candidates in ideology of the group, and I fully wish to join forces. Your fine philosophy of support & enrich will not be trampled on or forgotten by me, but rather incorporated fully. I'm very grateful for your support and encouragement, Alec, and only with you and other friends behind me will I stand any chance in this election.

So I applaud your building of the bridge, and fully intend to preserve and strengthen it.

Thank you also, Wise Man, for your support. Minority representation in our moderating team is indeed a fine goal, and in the absence of a female candidate in the top three I am the candidate who stands to increase our moderatorial diversity the most.
