Generally, if you post in one forum, like BoE, and then go post a bunch in a different forum, such as General, and then go back to BoE, you post count will still reflect what it was when you left BoE. Post again and it will bring your count back up to date. Or just click on your name in any one of your posts. It will tell you exactly how many posts you (or anyone else) has at the moment, even if it is different than the printed value.

Usually, your printed post count will refresh overnight. I don't know how exactly how it works; it's weird.

Hawk King, there's a reason why they call it "Recent posts." :P

I never use the lightbulbs anyway. I just look at the last post dates: if it's today I haven't looked at it today, there must be a new post in that topic.

Just keep chuggin' along at a steady rate, Alo. You'll get there eventually. ;)

*also couldn't resist another spam post to get to 1100. He's still retains some of his newbie urges.*

Shyguy's first release of one of those scenarios contained a handy exit door used for his alpha testing. He subsequently found out about it, took it off, and rereleased the scenario. He said that if you inadvertently go into it, it will cause bugs. That might be your problem.

Coffe or Tea? in General

I drink juice in the morning. Tea tastes like, uh, unrefrigerated water.

Coffee,{Decaff}is so good I should dink it more often{malcolm} :) ...Who is, of course, my 9-year-old brother who just walked in and typed that. Really.

Coffee is bad for you when consumed regularly. Caffiene is a drug.

Yes, we quit[e] were.

No, just kidding, that was real funny. Really. :)

I don't believe I've met BSR before, though I've read some of his posts in BoE about the time I registered. Hi, I'm ben.

JadeWolf, I didn't formally notice you were gone, but with so many newbies constantly appearing and disappearing, it's easy to lose track. Welcome back.

I have once again assumed by rightful place in the top 10 spammers on the boards. :D

What I want to see is an updated list of the top post counts. I think I've moved from 49th to 38th or 37th since the last such list.

Oh no, Mount Everest is melting! :P

Actually it is eroding, but the upward lift of techtonic plate movement is about four times as quick. Therefore, it's actually rising.

29,032 feet, I think, though I've heard 29,029, 20,028, 29,035, and so on. Us Americans don't use meters that much except in science class.

I moves your posts over almost half the screen on mine, and mine tends to be forgiving with that matter, with 1001011001000 not distorting it at all.

You could have just clicked on my profile, however, and change your PDN on the View/Update Profile option. You didn't need a new account.

Kel would never do that, hawk king. If he was a spammer, he wouldn't be a mod and wouldn't have a custom title in the first place. I'm sure he's rather happy to have "White Rabbit" over "Canned."

There's a boatload of loopholes in UR BoE, such as...you can move around in any scenario in combat mode. But only by registering can you achieve full functionality and convenience.

Yeah, well, the most trouble you'd have if there's some valuable suit of armor, but it weighs 150 and everybody is close to max weight. As soon as you leave the dungeon, monster-dropped items disappear, so you can't snatch them up in multiple trips.

"White Rabbit" is a much more honorable title than "Canned," if you were willing to go that far.

Maybe Drakey undos custom titles upon request. Except, of course, Canned and BANNED.

Alo's been trying that since 7,500, and now Drakey says he'll never get one. Though I'd vote for one for both of you.

Toenail, that's 8 stars. 7 letters.

EDIT: Oh, and Kel, calm down buddy. Just calm down. ;)

Scenario Idea in Blades of Exile
Master
Member # 4614

On a side note, you probably shouldn't go around proclaiming "Hey everyone, I'm making a scenario" unless you genuinely plan to finish it. Many scenarios get sluffed off and left for incomplete.

But yeah, now that you've got an idea, off to designing!

But Anaximander says that, right? :P

But yeah, it is good to get a little experience from relatively easy goblins and brigands, and if you go down farther, wolves. Don't venture into northern Upper Exile with your beginner party, however. There's no telling what you might meet. Your best bet is to stay south of the lake until you're leveled up a little bit, in which case you can find some good fights.
