quote:I get two questions out of this, since Solaria is our best candidate to this point: 1. TM, is there any reference to Solaria in the Exile series, excluding BoE? 2. Spiderweb is just a hobby that we decide to do rather than kill virtual beings in video games and watch their blood splatter. Sure, that is fun, but not near as fun as Spiderweb. - |\|00|3E|\|. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

TGM claimed he had 3000+ total, but I don't think he ever got a single account over 1100. According to Aran's list, I am 49th on the all-time posting standings, but I'd be willing to wager I've rose up a quite a few spaces since he updated, since the numbers were pretty tight there. And I've since found out that it's a bad idea to start your lead character with 98 HP and not much of anything else. :P (my brother went through one of those stages a while back anyway, me not so much) Of course, we were still young and new to Exile. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

"Mommy, what 'r ya doin?" "Posting on the Spiderweb Boards." "What's that?" "You're too young to understand. Are you hungry?" "Yeah, when's lunch?" "Oh, I'm starting to make it right now." "Yay; can we order pizza? Pleeeeeaaaaasssseee? Pretty please?" "No, we're just having sandwiches. Just give me a few more minutes and I'll start." "But I don' like sandwiches, Mommy." "Be quiet; I'm writing my post." "We want pizza!" "Okay, okay, I'm starting on lunch." I assume you get little time to actually sit down and post with 3 kids. ;) [ Wednesday, May 04, 2005 17:00: Message edited by: 1001011001000 ] -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

...But it can be strategic. I say keep anything you have equipped and any useful potions or stuff and then just keep the stuff you don't immediately need but don't want to sell in any available item storage rectangle. Also if you keep moving along in the game about as rapidly as you can, you will have less trouble with getting too much money. However, it becomes more of a problem when you go around exploring every square of the map and fighting a bunch of easy goblins with your level 24 party. The description was quite enough. Or you can just click that quote button on the far right of all those buttons on top of everyone's post, in which case it will write in for you. -100 101 100 1000 I find it much more interesting than plain 4808, but I never care if it's completely correct in your quotes. Never notice. EDIT: Oh, wait, I already said that part. Oh well. ^^ [ Monday, May 02, 2005 17:37: Message edited by: 1001011001000 ] -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

When I played E3, I used all the default names and races, though the HP and magic ability got boosted considerably. :P In BoE, however: Jenneke: Human Thissa: Slith Frrrrrr: Nephil Sturp: Human D-Pliss: Slith Boomer: Nephil It's an all-fighter party, too. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

You also need to remember that Spiderweb in run by 3 people, and only 1 actually does the programming. If Jeff likes to make RPGs better that RTS's, that's what he'll make. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

...of newbie polls, political debate against pretty much everyone else, a topic called "Suggestions" that RC locked (some of you may remember that. :P ), a few too many "Hi, I'm new!", "Hi, I'm back!", "Come visit my new forum!", and "Exile v.
