The surface is on the north side of the big cavern in Fort Emergence, past the lava. Find out what's there for yourself. Also, there is an independent forum for Exile Trilogy discussion. This is just pseudo-Misc. :P [ Saturday, May 14, 2005 14:09: Message edited by: N00BEN ] -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Yes, the surface is past the lava on the north side. But I recommned that you exit Fort Emergence into Upper Exile by going south and going to the goblin/brigand caves to train yourself up. There is a map of where to go opposite Anaxamander's office in Fort Emergence. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Polaris Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

But Anaximander says that, right? :P But yeah, it is good to get a little experience from relatively easy goblins and brigands, and if you go down farther, wolves. Don't venture into northern Upper Exile with your beginner party, however. There's no telling what you might meet. Your best bet is to stay south of the lake until you're leveled up a little bit, in which case you can find some good fights. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

And once you have cleaned out the goblins/brigands, you can venture north a bit to Ghikra (the Vahnatai town) and maybe take on the spiny worm that is in the breeding pit. Also, do not, and I repeat DO NOT go so far north that you reach the home of Erika the Mage. Next to it is a special encounter in which you fight a lot of ogres and sliths. Take them on when you are a lot stronger, Mitchy. I strongly reccomend you are at least at level 30 (average) when you take them on. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step.
